In theory Blitz counters sustain lanes, but only if he grabs things. Sona Q is good harass especially against no sustain lane like Blitz.

Its Xpecial's Sona vs Elementz's Blitzcrank..

Don't forget about taric, taric lanes do pretty good against BC lane.

its a counter if you get hooked, which im sure xpecial wont

Or you can bait hooks as Taric. Nothing like getting pulled into stun range to start a skirmish, especially if your jungler is there.

Blitz is picked quite often in tournaments...

In tourneys, people do not worry about getting countered THAT much in bot lane. And while blitz pull can be game-changing for clutch kills, there's very little chance for xspecial to get grabbed because he is familiar with playing against blitz and know how to bait/evade hooks.

dunno. thought maybe the ult cancels because tf becomes "untargettable" for a splitsecond.

Edit:
These IPL Casters. "Draven has issues when Bruisers get on his face". Because a knockback/slow and a sprint that refreshes on Q isn't good escape? I honestly think he's one of the slipperiest AD carries.
Also: "Every other AD carry has a blink." MF/Kog/Varus/Ashe/Vayne? Tumble too short ranged to really be considered, imo.

She doesn't have the steroids like some other AD carry, but her range is pretty insane, and she can poke pretty well, and safely (not like Kog maw, of course). In late game, I usually use her ult like a karthus ult : either to start a fight (Karth ult is like the best way to start a fight for a tower!), or to snipe someone.
Also, W + E make the teamfights pretty interesting, and I usually am able to get 1+ hit on AD carry before they hit me, so I can win 1v1 because of that slight advantage
If Caitlyn can get a significant lead in lane (as she often can), then sure, she's ok. She can get shit done in the midgame like no other and it's not too hard to snowball her lead into a win.
The problem lies in the games where she can't get a big lead in lane, or even worse: if she's put behind. Caitlyn's lack of any real steroid means she's basically down 2-3k gold on other carries. If she falls behind she will not recover, the enemy's tankiness will outpace her damage and she will spend the entire game feeling like she does no damage.
Basically she's too risky. If you win lane, great, you have a good chance of winning the game. If you lose, well, your AD carry is only ever going to tickle. Other carries have similarly strong laning (Corki, Ezreal, Graves) while also having a more reliable late-game.

You're just being nit-picky about this. Draven does have huge issues against hard CCs and bruisers getting in his face. Why do you think he is barely played when he has by the far the highest damage of all AD carries? MF/Varus/Kog aren't played, Ashe has high range and massive utility, and you very much underestimate Tumble.

M5 plays MF and clg.eu plays alot of kog.

fiora ult and fizz w also make you untargettable.

Fair enough, but there are pretty obvious reasons why Kog's lack of escape is acceptable. Not so for Draven: he does do more damage than other carries, but the consensus seems to be that it's not ENOUGH more to make up for his weaknesses.
