That's HSGG's old girlfriend......he started going out with Becca after that whole debacle with Chaox. Which is why Chaox has beef with HSGG.

I can't believe my computer crashed multiple times during the final game, but I think it would be awesome if both CLGs could play in the finals. Although CLG.NA would have to play Storm/Blaze, so that would be a very tough match.

The final is quite away to be thinking about it. Round of 8 is gonna be tough for all teams.

I don't really see how WE can deal with something like that, even in blind pick. Misaya TF Weixiao Vayne/Corki If Taric/Janna
Fine by me.
As usual, WE's Achilles' Heel is going to be their top/jungle though.

Can someone tell me why the games are played on old patches? According to Leaguepedia, they're currently on the Pulsefire Ezreal patch, which was 3 patches ago.

But it says that groups A, B, and C were all played on Draven patch, while Group D was played on Pulsefire Ezreal patch.

My next guess would have to be that they are playing on the tournament realm, to minimize the risk an unknown bug from occurring. I bet the whole thing with them changing from Draven patch to PFE Patch had to with the tourney realm being updated.

For major tournaments, they play on the Tournament Realm to ensure patch stability. Several online tournaments have had major issues due to patching(I recall one tournament, can't remember which specifically, had a patch apply in the middle of the bracket and it completely broke spectator mode... really rough for them). I'm guessing that OGN decided to keep the champion pool the same for all the groups, hence why Group C/D never advanced to Jayce patch despite it being stable.

As usual, WE's Achilles' Heel is going to be their top/jungle though. WE has the better bot lane. Misaya will certainly not lose mid lane. Snoopeh isn't an aggressive enough jungler to take advantage of YJTM. The only danger for WE is Wickd snowballing out of control, but he barely plays any snowbally champs nowadays.
Plus, CLG.eu's strength is their ability to not lose lane and safely farm to the lategame where they can teamfight well. WE, however, is an even better teamfighting team, and their lanes actually win and win hard.
I reckon WE has a roughly 60% chance to win, lolol.

But horrible that there is blind pick mode for the third set. CLG.eu will love that though. Perfect mode for them. God, I still can't believe they haven't removed this yet. Not enough angry letters sent, someone needs to get on this. Blind pick is a fine mode for a 3rd match. Don't want to blind pick? Win the first two games. Blind pick benefits the team that has the highest skill cap, and considering riot is really good with nerfing OP champions (well better than a company like Blizzard), it's unlikely any team will get a free OP champion without the enemy team picking the same champion. In the end it's still a team game, and you can't call it imbalanced since any team can pick the same champions, runes, and masteries.
However I would expect something gay like triple global team from both teams.

I would not be surprised at all to see shen, TF, Noct against shen karthus, noct in a blindpick game with ashe/ezreal being picked up to round out the global comps. bottom lane would be a slaughterfest.

Ognlol.com starting in aprox 10 min tune in for El Classico between Locodoco and Maknoon ( Startale vs Najin Sword). the first quarterfinals of the summer season!
|
Curses, work. Can someone post some match highlights?
|
So excited that its all topmatches now, cannot wait for friday to see WE vs clg.eu
Question: Since I've only started playing lol in march/april, did maknoon live in the states or another english speaking country similar to loco or why does he post on reddit since it's rare for "normal" korean pros to interact with the foreign community.
