A couple of months ago I had randomly got 2000 riot points and I had no idea why.. eventually I just accepted that I randomly got 2000 Riot points for free and moved on. But it JUST occured to me as I was in the shower that I may have received a champion bundle for some reason. Anyways so I looked at my profile and found out that I have both the Sejuani skins (I had bought Sejuani with IP when she came out). So anybody care to guess as to why I got the Sejuani bundle + 2k RP? :o Your name is likely in some sort of tournament roster that won or... they made some sort of error and you got lucky. Usually, winning a tournament would give you X amount of RP and a champion skin bundle. You should check if you have Triumphant ryze xD

Why can't teams pause in ranked games? I cannot even remember how many times it's saved my ass in hon or dota when my computer crashes, and I come back in to either the game still paused cause both teams wanted a legit game, or at worst we at least got 3 extra minutes of time for me, so I'm not totally done for. But in LoL if my computer crashes, and then even more unlucky like the client crashing trying to reconnect and having to go through that whole thing again...it can take 5-10 minutes sometimes. 5 minutes is gamebreaking, but if we could pause (I honestly think more people would rather play a legit game and have a good time than a stupid roflstop /ff at 22 cause of somebody afk for 5-10 minutes) then that could get brought down to like a 2-5 minute which the closer to 2 minutes, the better shot at getting back in you have. I just....I seriously don't understand. Why can't we pause in ranked games T.T

They theoretically could use a system like starcraft where there are only limited pauses, and everyone can continue the game no matter who started the pause. That prevents most larger abuses. But you would probably still get that guy who just pauses 3 times in the middle of a major fight, or right before surrender to annoy the enemy. Or they could even have a vote button like for the surrender, where at least 75% of all players in both teams have to agree to pause the game, and only 3-4 have to agree to reengage it. That way, you can't do stuff with it without the enemy team agreeing to it, and they can revoke their agreement at any given time. I see few ways to abuse such a system, but i also know that there are people out there who are far more dickish then i am, and who will find some way to annoy people with it. I doubt it would be used a lot in random online matches, mostly because a lot of people are dicks, and would rather take a free win then play a good game, and because a lot of people disconnect for 15 minutes or longer. But in tournaments disconnects seem to be a major problem, and a pause function would be a wonderful way to deal with that. Of course that might then lead to problems with ghosting due to the spectator delay.unless they freeze spectator time too. That being said, it obviously takes effort to implement such a thing. I really do hope that riot will put something like that in the game at some point in the future, but at the moment they appear to be busy with spectator mode and replays, which was also something a lot of people wanted to have.

Honeslty, I think getting two pauses each then having a "Vote to resume" shin dig would be perfect. One person could pause because of whatever, and if they being dicks people could resume game. Prevents most of the big abuses, most people dont wanna sit around in a lost game forever.

and its the same thing vice versa: if you're losing and someone on the enemy winning team has to do something urgent, 90% of the time your team will vote no for a pause so they can win

This sounds like a good idea, with perhaps a majority of your team needed to start the pause and maybe 6 people to unpause for a x-minute duration and then anyone could unpause. Unless the entirety of the enemy team is trolling yours in unison should prevent stupid pauses for the most part

Also in SC2 if someone dcs, you just shrug it off and move on to next game, game ends there. In LoL, the game continues for a good amount of time, and a bunch of people's experience gets ruined. I hate playing uneven numbers vs uneven numbers and the times where I have won 4v5 and felt great don't make up for the 30-40 times where someone dcs at an important moment dies, we lose baron for free, guy reconnects we get rolled over cause they have baron buff. Pausing for 2 minutes will solve most of these issues and helps team games out

Unless the entirety of the enemy team is trolling yours in unison should prevent stupid pauses for the most part It is absolutely needed that it takes more then one team to agree to a pause, and less then one to stop the pause, otherwise the losing team can always just pause forever until the enemy leaves the game. Thus, at least 6 to start a pause, and at most 4 to stop it. Probably something like 7/3 would be better. Everything else would be far to abuseable, and if it is abuseable, it will be abused. But we are not the ones making those decisions anyways, and i doubt riot would come up with a system that is obviously easily abused.

Ranked premades: 3 Pauses per team, requires 3-4 votes to pause, limit 3, 90-150 second minimum. Cannot pause more than once every 10 minutes.
