to be fair potions were ridiculously cost-effective altho I'm honestly not sure if the potion nerf really did all that much. sona was the undisputed strongest and most versatile support in the game with a pretty darn strong early game, while soraka was a walking fountain. the nerfs were warranted imo.

Regi running a Froggen-esque build on Cassio in this scrim vs SK: Sorc boots, 3x Doran's, WotA, Warmogs.

What are some good bot lane comps? The changes to Soraka and Sona have changed some things. Some of the other supports are stronger in comparison like Janna as Sona doesn't do as much poke damage making Janna Kog more effective. Janna kog seems to synergize so well because Kog has set times when he wants to trade with his arcane barrage. Soraka changes have promoted some teams to run Soraka Karthus. Haven't seen it in action but supposedly it works.
Leona Jarvan works bot, wondering if Leona Jax would work too though I feel it would be worse since Jax is weaker early on even if he can 100% dodge and stun.
Alistar changes means he isn't as good of heal bot and really does need to be paired with an aggresive bot which is what he benefits most from anyways. So the usual Vayne Alistar or Tristina Alistar might be better now than before, well Tristina because Vayne was nerfed.

Nothing against Regi, but I wouldn't trust anything he does on Cass. Froggen can get away with building anything he wants on Anivia because he is the undisputed best Anivia we've really ever seen. Regi's Cass leaves much to be desired, so I would take his builds on her with a handful of salt.

me and my buddy run Blitz Malphite from time to time its pretty lolzy especially if theres a squishier carry like vayne/ashe

Warmogs on Cassio works because she has high base damage even without building AP which was one of the reasons her base damage was nerfed this patch.
TSM scrimming SK again. They're having trouble because TSM forgot to mention what they're placeholder picks were so SK thought TSM was using Karma when Karma = Kog.

Blitzcrank hits a lot harder than anyone seems willing to accept. You gear that fucker up with an ArPen/AD page and he'll uppercut the balls off of a ranged AD. Combo him with a double CC dude like Maokai or Alistar and and you can blow up shitty Ranged AD + Support lanes.

I understand why it works, but I see more merit in getting a Rylai > Warmogs. You get tanky, more damage from AP (because she does have good ratios), and great kiting ability. I haven't played her since her nerf, but they took 10% off her Q scaling, and 10 base damage off her E. She's still perfectly fine, and I'll always build Rylai over Warmogs, but maybe is just me.

Bruiser Blitzcrank is especially hilarious. Sure, he's no Yi, but who else punches towers for almost 600 damage (don't bring up Nasus you-!)?
Regarding the new FotM tops (namely Shen and WW), which champs would be supposed to do well against them?
Irelia, Pantheon and Renekton were already inferior to WW pre-buff from what I've read, and I wouldn't try Olaf against a sustainer like WW or Shen's feint. Jax wouldn't probably be able to withstand all that harass. Blitzcrank is out of question even tho I'd like to dust him off as solotop.
Galio can probably do 0K after rough first levels, and turn the lane into a farmfest, but he scales a lot worse than them ; same with Maokai. I see Viktor abusing his range against Shen and outpushing WW, but if he gets caught they'll wreck him in damage output during trades.
Swain, perhaps? WW shouldn't be able to catch him, and if he lives till 6 his sustain should stave off Shen.
I don't think I have many other tops... and I don't look very well equipped to deal with those two.

and good Blitz Grabs simply win teamfights. One of my favorite things in this game is playing with a good Blitz.

The Rylai's is nice, but the total damage added pales compared to the extra ability to stay alive Warmog's gives on her, especially when you factor in that nobody can run from her to begin with thanks to her Q.

Nothing is scarier than losing brush control against a blitzcrank. You pretty much lose bottom lane the instant you let that happen.

I played against blitzcrank who started pink wards wards and pots and yellow pete on caitlyn and I was playing pre nerf sona with corki and we destroyed them. Just sit in creeps and you have double the amount of auto hits I don't see what blitz can do.

ROFL funniest lvl 1 fight I've ever seen. TSM vs SK
TSM wards their own wraiths area, SK goes into TSM's wraith area but not fast enough as they don't see the ward then TSM sneaks into their wraith river brush. SK's taric starts teleporting back near river in ward vision. TSM jumps Taric he flashes but they flash too and kill him. CV to see the rest of SK near red but they try running away because it's 4v5. However they have nowhere to run so they try to all get executed by running into TSM's base. However TRM tps to their top inhib turret only Morganna manages to kill herself in time. TSM then kills 3 more of SK for 4-0 lead within the first 3 minutes.

Btw, is there ever a situation in which you guys buy Soul Shroud or Nashor's Tooth?
Because those are two items that I never really buy, on any champion.

I see Nashor's sometimes on Kayle but I think it's mediocre overall. Shroud isn't bad, but there's just so much better available (Shruelya's, Aegis, Zeke's, Locket). Aura CDR is a really wonky mechanic in general because it only is useful if you're in range when you use an ability and even then you waste a lot of its CDR on the support (who is over cap) and the person with blue. I haven't gotten either in a very long time.

A friend and I were playing duo ranked, we vsed another premade bot lane. Sion and Blitzcrank. REAL TERROR. Needless to say we lost real hard and after that we crushed a few noobs with the same strategy lol. Its really strong even if you know what youre doing. One mistake is a guaranteed kill. One of the more unforgiving lanes although that is true for anyone who can follow up blitz pull with cc.
