As for Skarner, I like him not being played. He's such a retard magnet I'd ban him over LS any day just to avoid someone picking him in soloQ. "Hey they've got a fed Vayne and farmed Vlad because I botched every teamfight but let's just ult that 4k HP no damage support Mundo that's hanging in the front and ignore the others to focus him". Skarner players are more often facedesk-inducing than not. Also, at work now. I want to try Nautilus.  | ||

The good news is he's tanky as balls without mush in the way of items and his skirmishing is fantastic. I need to test this further but I really feel like he could work as a support bot ala Leona and Blitz. He has the same basic principles at work as they do. The crux of it is gonna be whether or not he can be effective with little gold. Might come down to needing a bursty AD partner. Vayne/Corki/Tristana jump out at me right away. All theory-craft right now, practical tests come tomorrow if I can tear myself away from shen... | ||

I've been banned, and I really think it's because yesterday I got trolled twice by 4 men premades spamming "report" when I was 1v2 bott while getting insulted. Is there any way to know the reasons of your ban? I don't rage, never went afk, never insulted my opponents,... | ||

It usually takes a week or more till you get banned after you were reported. So, you either raged, afkd, insulted or did anything that gets you banned. If you want to know, ask on the forums and rioters will tell you the same. | ||

Getting 9 reports doesn't get you banned, I know quite a few people who should've been instabanned if this was the case. Tribunal is fine, if you dont like getting banned dont do stupid shit. Getting reported 2 games in a row doesn't instantly send you to the tribunal where you get punished by everyone if you haven't done anything wrong and banned the next day. It doesn't work like that. Must've done something wrong before to get banned that fast. | ||

As an example yesterday, I went 0/8/15 as jungle Ali, while doing the most damage, tanking, and ofc utility of the team, didn't even speak in chat once about my terrible team managing to lose lane after me giving them all kills himself and never following a single engage with Shurelya (I caught both their carries out of position 3 times and forced flashes 1v3 each time, with my team behind me hitting creeps), and you know what? My bott lane kept spamming "please report that feeder Alistar". So yeah, ofc it wasn't my first report. | ||

P.S: Not literally 10 minutes, but ~1 hour. I think they need to tone down Tribunal a bit, you just can't have fun anymore. If you try crazy builds and end up losing you just get all the reports for teh crazy build. | ||

Ofc there has been some bad language when I was trolled or my mid was whining of his team being bad while 1/8/1. But I've never been full-on insulting anybody, and when I duo queue I usually make it so our team doesn't know to try not to react a negative attitude from them. Having no info whatsoever on why you're banned is just stupid. Snoopeh having been banned is like the #1 example of the failure of their system... | ||

Since chat is anyway included with the report, you might as well defend yourself once or twice in chat, something like "That is the third engagement where I thought you guys would back me up when I go in to tank and then you abandon me." Can be quite telling when reading a report. Seeing that it is just a bot lane that reports a feeder, and no-one on the opposing team is reporting, IMO pretty easy to spot. Especially if the reported player has normal items, CS and so on. I think I'd rather have an 0/8/15 tank on my team, then a 1/4/2 tank on my team at the end of the game. However, if you have 3 of those irrelevant reports, and then one where you go all-out flaming/racist/trollmode etc, I would probably still vote to punish. | ||

For sure you can try crazy builds with friends, or in normals (and let people know about it beforehand), but if you tried them first in ranked and failed with them, what would you expect people to do? | ||

I always thought of him as: If you get a good ult you auto win, but you're generally a more defensive carry protective version of udyr. I've always done really well with him in teamfights. I didn't do all that good early on because I was still going wriggles builds instead of swapping to philo hog stuff. Obviously you can't rely on skarner as an initiator, I always thought of him as more of an offtank even though you can flash ult you're not that tanky if you get focused meaning I don't like him as a carry diver. For example, I wouldn't dive a cass like I would on udyr, but I might ult her if she starts on my squishies. Skarner can't avoid cass skillshots the way a bear/turtle/pheonix stance spamming udyr can because losing the shield means you move slow again. I've never been banned as of yet. (touch wood). I've done more than my fair share of feeding in both normal and ranked, trolling in normals, semi trolling in all chat. I have had the whole "everyone report X champ please" at the end of the game but never been banned, so I'm guessing you'd have to be pretty offensive in chat//afk//leave. I've also never bought RP. | ||

If you get reported in say, 10 games a total of 40 times although you do absolutely nothing wrong, what do you think will happen? Will most people reviewing the case read through every report, or will they just click punish? Do you think Riot decides who they ban? 1.) You've gotta be joking if you don't think they review 14 day bans. 2.) It's # of reports and # of games reported versus amount of games played with a lower weight applied to people who spam erroneous reports. If I get reported once a week but play 500 a games a week, those reports don't matter much. If I get reported once a week and only play once a week, enjoy the fast-track to the tribunal. 3.) Yes, most people don't blindly press punish. 4.) You troll, you get banned. I don't see how the system is flawed. Just because you won't admit the reason doesn't mean there isn't one. You know what the biggest "flaw" of Tribunal is? How many people want to say the system sucks or doesn't work because they can't recognize that their own behavior in the game is unacceptable. | ||

How many people actually see how many games are played? If there's a list of like 30 games reported they're far more likely to punish than if there's a list of 2 games reported Most people actually do blindly press punish... You also get banned if you DON'T troll or do anything else wrong, which indeed is the issue | ||
