i think mine was akali. i really like her aggressive kit and her specific role alot. I started playing her alot because she was one of the only champs that was completely different form the good ol Dota heroes.
edit:
can someone give me advice? I have confident picks for all the roles but I'am struggling to pick ap-carries since I started playing again. I played kass, akali and malz the most so far. kass and akali are kinda situational picks that have to fit into your team, while malz would be my most general pick. But I don't really like him anymore (propably cuz I don't get him).
I like aggressive and/or baitish champions who have an 'asshole' feel to them. On the other positions I play singed/wukong, lee/fiddle, sona/leona (I don't really like ranged ad carries and I suck at them except mb MF).
what would you propose for me?

Caitlyn. I wanted to play a ranged character who could hit hard, and I like playing Snipers in shooter games, so she seemed great. She's had her moments, but now I realize her kit is rather dull to play compared to some others.
|
an asshole feel to them huh.. Gragas. "Teamfight lets gogogogo!" "Gragas ult, everyones out of position, AD carry somehow in the front" Fk
Maybe Kennen too? Energy based and AOE ult that can stun.
|
Gragas, Kennen and Morgana are all asshole-ish AP carries.
Gragas: You are initating? NOPE Kennen: ER Zonhyas, instant teamfight rape Morgana: Black Shield, QW, oh you are low or grouped up? R lololol

Happy birthday btw Corvette.
Raise some of dat ELO.
And also perhaps Xerath. "HUGE teamfight! WHERE ARE THESE BLASTS COMING FROM?!!?" Xerath laughing using R and Q from behind the trees.

Try playing Xerath, makes me sigh every time I go up against one, because its just an annoying lane, and his stupid Q is wider than the animation makes it seem (luckily he is underplayed). You could also try Sion or Leblanc. As for baitish, I think Ahri is pretty baitish.

Anyway, with the amount of flak he's getting I guess I'm just playing piss-poor opponents ^^ there are two ways of dealing with a failure/loss: 1. What should I have done differently to prevent that? 2. What can I blame externally to prevent self-criticism? I guess we all use both approaches, while the first one leads to improvement and the second to frustration. You can't change the way people are approaching a failure so don't even try to. If the fact that you had a fun game that you even won is not sadisfying enough for you, when you don't get a humble 'wp' from your opponent then just think about the fact that your moving on improving and having fun not being stuck in frustration.
Quite true. I do usually manage to wether the shitstorm and just enjoy good plays etc (much like in poker) rather then the pure results or (lack of) sportsmanship of my opponents, but I can never completely block it out. If you make some great plays and feel good about it and you get some crapstorm about how you suck but you play something OP I still get a bit anoyed, even if I manage to block most of it out =)

Sion.
My first game of lol was back in beta and I tried to build sion as a pure tank that was fun
or maybe it was jnust after beta i dont know.

Who was your first main champion you stuck onto (Pretty much saying; your first champion your playing a lot) You could still be playing that character idk, doesn't matter, any why?
Mine was Ryze. Lightning balls of death, always tank never die. Now I don't play him anymore.
Cho Gath. I liked Kog Maw a bunch too early on but after the range nerf and I just play Trist instead for better range and the escape.
But Cho is definitely the champ I've played most constantly since I started playing. He's also the only champ that makes me feel like a pro when I play him.

Malzahar. I think it was a mix of his awesome sound effects and his kit. He was, at the time, the only AP with four damage spells. Even when his ult only had 550 range, suppression didn't exist, and voidlings skittered wherever they pleased I found him fun and exciting.
Building DFG on him made a lot more sense back then.

the thread got a bit messy bc of my question but thx for the suggestions

Lux. I was dead set for Warwick (who was also 3150 back then) for the longest time, but then I saw Lux's laser in a bot game. Extremely tough choice, but eventually went with Lux. I now have 300+ games with her. I used to have more or less ideal positioning and aim on the skill-shots. Then I picked up Swain, whose battle strategy is composed of "I'M A BIRD MOTHERFUCKER" and subsequently ruined my positional skills.

Karthus. Doesn't even need to wait for teamfights to be an asshole whenever there's a gank somewhere.

My main char was tryndamere because he was awesome.
Then they remade his Q and his laning based around "LOL I CRIT 300 AT LVL 1" was killed and he wasn't as fun anymore, but suddenly everyone started playing him a ton even though he got meganerfed imo o_o
By the way Karthus is the biggest asshole in the game so that would be worth considering.

Caitlyn was my first. Again.. I thought the range meant I could bully anyone in lane. As of yet I don't think I've ever really lost a lane with her.

what would you propose for me? katarina! high skill cap, if you play like shit she's shit, if you play like a god she becomes a god, when played correctly can take out an entire team (because of CDs refreshing after every kill/assist), but can also do almost no damage

Mine was Ryze. Lightning balls of death, always tank never die. Now I don't play him anymore. Played against pant once, cool guy that jumped out of nowhere and fkin killed you. Bought him and played him tons and tons. Also has an awesome mocking laugh.
|
Actually I really can't remember if it was Ryze or Caitlyn for me.
It might've been Caitlyn because Dwarven sniper was my second favorite hero in DotA, man was I disapointed with caitlyn.
|
oh man the old panth used to be so much fun. HSS 1-hits from full np
