its been malphite, singed and corki for a while, but oddly enough I had more success with chogath and garen.

I have good records with caitlyn and miss fortune but it looks like a matter of chance.
I always played a mean veigar but I dont feel like im helping the team in any way even if I go 15-0 (100% usless after instagibbing one person, which brings the game to a 4v4 in lategame)

Singed. that guy is more face-roll than face-rolling itself. Initiates, tower dives, face-checks any bush, gets chased by 5 people NP, builds the same practically every game, wins lanes almost automatically, easy to farm with, fits into almost any team comp, I mean, this guy can do everything. I don't see how he's not OP.

Mordekaiser when I don't feel like thinking too much. He's obviously great as a noob stomper, but he is still really good against good players (just ask Dyrus)

Nocturne 99% of the time. I junlge a lot, but he makes a pretty strong solo too.

GP when he doesn't get banned sometimes for jungle, but I still think nocturne is stronger as a jungler

If I get forced to play AP, orianna is usually banned, but her, annie or brand

If I get forced to play Tank - Amumu jungle or Cho. I've been digging (get it?) Malphite recently

If I get forced to play Support - I liked old Soraka better, but new soraka is pretty good, I guess Janna or Taric

I would play Akali, but I feel like I'm cheating...

Brand. Hes a winning champ but i dont think im good enough because i cant carry an entire team even at my unranked ELO. TBH though, i am usually the best player on my team.

Listen to your high elo friends, tanky dps or jungle is the way to go, reason being that they're more likely to carry the game better than any other champion type (in the right areas). Kills aren't everything, you have to be able to take damage, deal damage, and get out without giving up a free kill.

Squishy champs die too easily, so even if you're a 15-2-8 AP Carry, unless your whole team is doing well you're just going to get focused down.

I am yet to really play many other champs, I just love playing ranged AD. Just hit level 29 today and all I have played since starting is: Ashe>Vayne>Caitlyn(currently).

I know scarra plays him, but I'm pretty sure VB did, too.

It's like Loci and Ryze -- some people just dgaf and will play a champ (and win) regardless.

In the words of TakashiX, who got ~500 elo with him when he got back into LoL a few months back (when few people knew he was OP): "I need to carry, and also not die"

He can fit onto a lot of teams due to his tankiness and hybrid damage, can focus on AD, AP, or defense to fill whatever the team needs, and kills split-pushers with his strong 1v1. Also solves the low-level problem of not knowing how to end games, since he is one of the strongest endgame champions. He's been my favorite champ since beta and I think he's finally in a good spot (his counterplay is just too unfun for him to be any stronger than he is).

I pick him whenever I think I can win a solo lane (based on enemy champions, generally not first-pick unless I'm duo queued or garen+morde are banned)
