Most people I know run something along the lines of

arp reds
armor yellow
mr/l blues
arp quints

Attack speed reds are nice, but armor pen just makes the ganks that much more deadly for such little jungle time lost.

armpen reds arent worth it unless you have a pure physical damage ability jungle like olaf. Aspeed makes a bigger difference on jungle clear time and health than armpen, and you dont need an extra 3 damage when autoattacking on a gank to get a kill.

Mark choice for jungling depends on the champion. With WW you'll want AS because it synergizes with his passive and more importantly with Madred's later on; with Tiger Udyr you'll want flat AD because it helps both your autoattack and your tiger activation proc (which deals magic damage and doesn't benefit from arpen); with Amumu you'll want mpen because all his damage comes from spells anyway, and that way you get stronger ganks and more damage in teamfights.

If you just want something that'll work out okay on anyone... I'd prolly go with AS.

Janna, Ashe, Zilean, Amumu and Warwick (CLG) vs. Vayne, Annie, Vlad, Sona and Alistar (RS).

Grackis and the other guy casting were saying that RS had gone for an early game comp. and that they wanted to close out the game ASAP, whereas CLG had gone for a lategame composition. Which kind of surprised me, because I got the exact opposite impression- that CLG's comp. was early-game focused. Can anyone who knows more about this clear this up for me?

other way around, atk speed runes are only worth it if you have problems clearing the jungle otherwise, since they are useless runes past jungling

They were saying that CLG was more of the early game team. Since CLG had Janna and Zilean who is the support/ap champion. I thought RS was going to win it until that awkward tower dive. Then CLG was able to line up their Ashe arrow mummy stun ww ult combo.

Disagree. Most jungle champs synergize with aspeed (ghostblade, wriggles, triforce) and by the time you get past jungle most champs have started to buy armor, making the 25 armor pen fairly useless compared to an extra auto attack.
