From what I saw so far Rumble solo top beats most of the common EU stuff, even Jarmans who get surprise buttsexed. I never saw someone go for Maokai as support bot and actually I recall seeing on over like the last 30 games at my ELO. (1500ish) Wouldn't call that FotM.

Lanewick is so stupid easy even I can feel OP with it. Leblanc's only problem is landing E when needed. I play both too. SO IF YOU'RE IN NEED OF A 1200 ELO LANEWICK/LEBLANC I THINK YOU HAVE YOUR MAN. I don't even blame elo hell for why I'm stuck here! (I blame elo police and not enough welfare)

The only time I ever saw a roamer on EU was when I asked for someone who can 1n2 bot so I can roam janna (lovely guide btw <3). The drawback? People assume Garen or Renekton are good choices. The result? Farmed AD carry and dead Garen or Renekton. Personally when I'm in a situation where I need to 1n2 I'd pick Cho/Maokai over everything else. Maokai so great there.

So far I have been curbstomping everyone (I'm at level 20 summoner level, no one follows guides or anything lol), and I am seriously considering buying him before he goes not-free. Also, why do we call Jarvan "Jarman" sometimes?

They most likely do follow guides. And that's really sad. For every decent guide there probably are around 100 horrible guides. Or how else could you explain popular nonsense like rushing LW? Or rushing PD on champs that are not named Tryndamere? And then there seems to be a guide to intentionally feeding. No way all those retards were clever enough to realize that stacking movespeed allows you to feed more. We also have a pretty cool Xin guide on TL btw.

Thing is, most opponents when I check their items, they are just going what is reccomended to them in the shop. Sometimes it is a good idea, sometimes it gets you gutted before your second item. And about the Xin guide, I saw it. I used that for my masteries.

Hybrid stuff like frozen mallet and wits end are great as well.

The last 2 items are usually armour items, Thornmail for AD opponents, FoN otherwise and Randuins round out the build. For the first majority of the game you are a glass cannon, but if you can make it to the defence items, you should have already won it since you carried your team.

Yours looks like a good build though; get away with as much damage as you can without dying! Also, Jarman is indeed his name. Your post inspired this thought + Show Spoiler + ![]() Jarman's got a jar of di-irt, and guess what his build is...

Might work for Jarv, but it is not tailored to him.

Early game: I'm laning against shen (or any champion with teleport) at top. Other team does dragon, and we are fully aware of what's happening. Being extremely cautious, my laning opponent decides to teleport to dragon. I thought about pushing hard at top, maybe even destroy the turret. But that would mean that I wouldn't be able to farm consistently unless I buy wards, which wouldn't significantly prevent ganks when I'm well ahead of the river. :\

I would give advice on what to do, but I don't know enough about strategy to say more than that.

If you push and take tower, you took a zone and you gave your team global gold and exp, which minimizes dragon adv for the present. The more passive choices in this situation maximize his dragon adv. If you just last hit while other team took drag, then you just minimized creep gold and creep exp he missed from being out of lane. If you pushed to tower, you deal tower damage to make it easier to destroy tower later and he misses a lot of creep gold and exp. He's pretty much asking what to do after you take a tower top, and are forced to go into unsafe territory to farm. Pretty much, after you take a zone, you are forced to roam for other objectives. If you picked a champion that has some roaming power, you have to roam other lanes and objectives and force fights and situations where you have a number advantage. If you're a farm dependant champion, then you pretty much have to force out one person from another lane to do the roaming while you take their lane to farm. If the enemy top has a global though, it's better to pressure the top side of the map and its objectives and try to win through fights where you have terrain advantage, than to try to force an uneven situation where the enemy can just use their global after pushing back top to make things 5v5. This takes a lot of coordination and game sense to execute well though. Another tip, wards give you vision over areas so after taking zones from towers, you need to ward to secure vision and zone control over certain areas.
