2. backward compatibility with different patches 3. saving opponents actions in such a way that doesn't have openings for maphacking I might be missing other stuff. | ||

fairly straightforward in theory though I believe... the server handles all the actions, just temporarily save the replay there and then make it available for download after the game. At least that's how I would approach it. | ||

1. Modifying the PVP.net interface to allow for observers. 2. Changing the in-game implementation so that observers don't have random champions sitting in fountain, summoner spells, item slots etc. 3. Locking down observer communications in-game. That sounds simple, but it's still a significant amount of work. | ||

Could be arbitraily more work though. It is a huge load on the servers though, and we all know that Riot has problems with their capacities. | ||

At least that's how I would approach it. thats actually exactly how i was thinking it should be done when i wrote my last post, i just didnt feel like adding it though that goes right back to them having to change a bunch of serverside code before they can have replays p.s. we should play later today, get on skype and check if im not logged on LoL | ||

Why? The only other champion that does is Yi, and Yi sure as fuck doesn't have the kind of baseline Irelia does (Alpha vs Bladesurge, Highlander vs Transcendant Blades sniping, Equilibrium Strike vs nothing). | ||
