This is an argument for blink dagger, not for flash.

I don't think there is anything wrong with flash. Just remember that you have to get the person to burn it before you can get the kill and you don't really get upset when you can't finish them off on the first gank attempt. I am comparing this to WoW in my head though. Like how you would have to get someone to burn trinket or blink etc before you can do whatever.

In other words you either need to be winning the lane as is or you need to "pre-gank" and hope that they don't just play super cautious for the next 4 minutes.

Um, if they let you zone them for the next four minutes then I say that, gank or no gank, you came out on top.

Akali's AoE kills wards.
Confirm/Deny?
I knew it was some champ I'd played recently.. thought it was Olaf's undertow but we tested that and that skill is working as intended.
|
I could've sworn I've seen Akali's E kill shrooms before, can't remember if I confirmed it or not.
|
I haven't tested it this patch but I'm fairly certain it worked before. They might have changed it that same patch where they made Garen's E not kill wards anymore though.
|
Akali's E was killing wards last patch, as was Pantheon's HSS if I recall correctly. Unless they were changed and it wasn't included in the patch notes they're probably still broken.
If Akali can still kill wards she's going to be an abusive jungler until it's fixed. Not only are you unable to track her by CS now, but if you ward your bushes or dragon she can kill it without any appreciable opportunity cost or effort. Previously you had to at least stand in one spot for 15-20 seconds spamming E and watching your spell vamp to make sure you were really hitting something.

There's a red post by Guinsoo claiming they fixed these a few hero skills that could kill wards (Akali's E among them) and asking for bug reports if they're in fact still killing wards.

Physical proc attacks no longer kill wards (Garen E, Akali E, Panth E, Olaf Q, Corki E, etc). So that's a good adjustment.
The major downside to 1 hp wards now is that they can be dinked by an auto attack if an enemy is in range of the ward before it gets to turn invisible.
|
Note that you can use physical proc attacks to kill a ward if it's visible. You can snipe a ward with mystic shot right as they drop it down, or if someone has oracles.
|
That's how it should be though imo. If people drop a ward right in front of your face and you know where it is then it's not doing them much good anyway.

Chrispy raging on CLG stream. The shittalking has been entertaining all game.

yes it is, a good ward will still be good even if the enemy sees you place it. it can easily cut off paths of entrance to a lane

Placing a ward against a powerballing Rammus: Awesome.

I don't know why I didn't even think about vision wards when I said that... And the other point is good as well. That's why I'm sub 1200!
