The jungle changes begin..... TL;DR Red may no longer slow, instead be haste like TT. Small spawns 60 secs instead of 100. | ||

Being able to kite an anti-carry with a slow is way more useful in fights than being able run away from them faster. | ||

Like, changing spawntimers on small camps (while decreasing gold/xp) sounds to me as if you're about to take counterjungling out of the game. It might not be worth the risk anymore. How is the current red buff broken? Not to mention the slow/haste change will be a nerf to pretty much all junglers - except those who hate ganking and love farming anyway and ranged dps. | ||

Nerf to ganking, nerf to counterjungling. The only junglers I can see liking this are AFK-farm junglers that become super strong mid-late game off free-farm (e.g. Amumu). | ||

The current red buff isn't broken at all, tbh I would like to think Guinsoo misphrased the proposed change and that he's considering making it give a speed buff whenever you autoattack/cast a spell to avoid making it a 100% passive buff. Changing spawntimers and stuff is intended to nerf overly passive gameplay. Unless you're playing a jungler that can jungle really quickly (yi, trynd, udyr) you will find more incentives in ganking since one of the first things he mentioned was nerfing the gold granted by jungle creep kills. Competitive LoL right now is extremely boring. US servers are iron chef and EU servers make me want to kill myself, all this because of passive play being so strong. Doublelift and Dyrus' highlight videos were awesome because they showed fun characters and gameplay (well, mostly doublelift's). unR's video had flashy teamfights and super high quality editing. The EU highlight videos suck dick. Thanks to LoL bringing new people into the genre HoN is picking back up, especially since S2 changed the game from the LoL clone they made it into when they nerfed hard carries into the gankfest that it is right now. They picked up LoL's metagame, realized that people wouldn't switch over to play the same game except without balance, and turned into the extremely flashy game that it is now. Still without any sort of balance, but fun to watch. | ||

I think red is disgustingly powerful personally, every champ that can pick it up early has to be nerfed early so they don't just crush everyone they meet up with (nunu, shaco, ww's worthlessness pre-6, for example) | ||
