Go and give them a free kill. - It's early / mid game and you have an objective to do ? Don't chase unless your team can secure the objective without you. I prefer securing 15 sky temple shots than wasting 40 secs getting 1 kill when the guy comes back after 30 secs or so. If chasing is better for the team, not for your enjoyment / takedown stats, go for it. And that comes from a Nova main. ^^ | ||

You often just waist precious time where you could have gotten things done like soaking that crucial exp for a talent/ get a boss/ push down a fort or keep/ get objective. Mostly it's Muradin chasing someone while all squishys get wiped or Rehgar | ||

edit: case in point: unranked guy gets captain, last picks malfurion after tyrande in a TLV team. I carried this game out on Vikings too, but then they all decided to defend terror ahead of their base, got caught in 3 man mosh and lost the game in 10s. nice | ||

1st game, our last pick is selecting Thrall but we need a healer and the other team just banned him, and then he selects EVERY SINGLE HEALER and all show with an exclamation mark, meaning he cannot play them (levels too low). So he goes for Nazeebo. We have a noob Illidan, a feeding Jaina, a bad Nazeebo, and me (Nova) and my friend (Diablo) to carry. We win this even without healer, because the other team was all noobs. Didn't play with and vs such noobs in a long time in HL. 2nd game, the muted guy is on their team, so i'm confident. I get 2 muted guys: muted Jo, muted Asmo who never joins and yolo on lane ALL GAME. Feeding Russian Jaina (5 death in 5 minutes, ends at 10 death), AFK Jo after a 12 minutes because who cares about comebacks. I manage a beautiful boss steal with Falstad without dying. But then they steal our boss because why help on boss when you can waste time in the lane near it. I mean, this was beyond carry. They did pick Nova (the guy who did was on my team prev game so obviously he wouldn't let me have her). Blizzard: 2 or 3 quick fixes: don't allow more than 1 muted guy on 1 team. Make real punishments for people who are muted and still get a shitload of reports. Don't allow in HL someone who doesn't have 4 playable healers, or 4 playable warriors. Simple. edit: and fucking fix the bug where muted people don't show up as muted at all on draft, be them on our team or on the other team. This is important. I think it's an Europe only bug. | ||
