It is so nice when some of your team also know this and don't mind doing rotations so I can deny Murky. You are actually right, there are assassins which can handle Murky quite well. Even though they can see your talents, people don't expect from you to get Envenom and Blood for Blood.
Why on earth would you run envenom and BFB on Murky when the alternatives are way better? Like i get your whole outplaying scenario, but those 2 talents do not belong on the tiny murloc lol :3

Alternatives weren't way better before the patch, I mean they aren't way better even now, they are just better. 5 second Envenom(which was like one of the best talents at level 4 at that point) + 15% BFB(same comment as for Envenom, lol) with 2 Slimes, Octo and Pufferfish would kill majority of heroes at level 16 instantly. Enemies will overextend chasing you when you are very low on HP and BFB would heal you almost back to full instantly.
Murky start doing sick things in fights once you stop relying on Pufferfish and realize that your Slime is actually doing the most damage over the time of the fight. Pufferfish is quite unreliable, Slime coupled with auto-attacks hurt a lot when talented at level 7(100% damage from AA on Slimed target) and level 13(reduced the CD of a Slime by 1 sec). I mean it is such different Murky style, you are not pushing but you are fighting and ganking a lot. I don't play it that often these days but damn it is fun and rewarding.

Seems really weird to me how he made it work post-envenom/BFB nerf, but then i looked him up on hotdogs and he seems to be winning consistently against high-diamond/masters. Guess i have something new to try out ^^ Hopefully i'll meet him in queue some day <3

Just went 0-5 with KT on HL. Every game I have the best kill:death ratio and have the highest damage yet we lost 5 in a row. This game hates me

Last game of my placements. I'm winning the game super hard, until around 20 minute in. EVERYBODY on my fucking team dc'ed and then the shitty enemies grouped up with a DK and pushed in.
I was placed into fucking rank 6 because of this..... if i won that game i would have been rank 5

Just lost a match vs The Lost Vikings. They had 33 000 exp since mid game on terror garden. My whole team had 34 000 roughly. It's stupid to play TLV at our level (rank 15). People are too bad to counter it and it's easy to play when noone hunts you. He had only 4 death (4 * 0,25 = 1 dead in fact) and I was the only one killing him in these 4 deaths. I was the only one hunting and killing them, it was awful. Noone talks in chat (15 minutes in Kael talked and said "bad bad bad", that was the only text not coming from me in the whole game). Noone pings, noone listens, noone follows.
You can add to that the guy who was AFK during picks and got Brightwing after we already had a Lili, and the fact that our ranks ranged from 15 (me) to 28 and a guy in placement, but the other team's ranks range was from 13 to 17 with no placement guy.
Please let the new system end this.

This is the worst. I went through that a few weeks ago it was awful. It ended with me switching heroes more often. Maybe you Kael too much (although he is a must-have on every map).

It was right after I bought him so I played 5 games in a row as KT. Since then I've won 4 games so I'm 4-5 with him overall. It's funny because I feel like I played worse in those 4 games that I won. Team makes a huge difference... one of the games was against Kaeyoh and we wrecked because the rest of his team was not as good.

Gotta rage real quick, have been queueing up quickmatches since tonight and am on a ~10 games losing streak so far, I mainly play heal, yet wanted to have some fun playing assassins like KT and Thrall, 2(!) out of those games we had at least one support, the rest was Nova/Zeratul/only DDs, Specialists vs 3 Tanks or normal comps. The most games I really tried to be constructive and wanted to motivate my team, yet I got paired with so many people apparently not knowing what to do at all in this game plus said retarded match-ups.
I hate this game right now, tanks don't protect their team mates at all, when I queue up as support I usually have another one and no tank on my team, playing anything else I get the aids fest matchups where you get the feeling you're playing with bots. Guess there's really no way but playing Hero League exclusively, thanks for making me play 20(!) placement matches again with over 600 games on my account, fuck this, I'm gonna play some SC2!

I don't know what's wrong with people.
I was in a game on Battlefield of eternity. We were winning 16 vs 13, then Jaina dies. No one had talked all game long, and then she starts saying "fucking mexicans you all suck" And I was like.."what? What does mexicans have to do with anything?" she says "becuase they are bad, blablabla slaves blablabla" and she kept bitching about it all game. Leoric and I tried to calm him/her down because her complain made no sense, we were winning. Like, I understand if people get mad when losing and blame the cat, cat, the lag, mexicans or the rainbows for their loss, but when we are winning?. Anyway, that Jaina is obviously the worst player on the team with more than 12 deaths. Even so, the rest of the team is pretty good and we get both keeps and the enemy core to 46% health while he still have 2 keeps and a forth. Then, Leoric has a great idea, to camp on the enemy core, to make them stay in base while we take the immortal. It seemed like a good plan, there was one problem though: the enemy team reacted well. The jaina constantly dying dindn't help.
Now, we were still winning by a large margin, but we needed leoric to come back to help with the immortals, but he ignored us. Then he respawned and died again and the enemy pushed with their immortal. We told leoric again to come back to base and he ignored us, and then I realized: Leoric was actually afk. He was not kicked because he respawned right besides the enemy core, so he hit it and the game thought he was still active. He didn't come back and that costed us the game.
I think that's the worst experience in a match I've ever had on any game ever.

I haven't played one game since the disgusting change to HL group queues.
I kind of wanted to try Rexxar, but I just can't support a game that forces you to solo queue while friends are online.

So upset, the amount of players that don't understand the game that que up for HL is horrendous. I'm playing a new hero account for my gf and I'm stuck in the 30's. I went 16 - 0 the day before and went up to 30, I lose 4 games and I'm back to 35...

Wait untill you get higher, when you get a rank 15 KT or jaina who dont know their focus priority, a sylvana whos just pushing solo without helping in teamfights or objectives. Simply put, the rank system (or the MMR) is complete bullshit it doesn't represent skill, its just a fucking number. Now i cant even party up with a few friends just to reduce the chance of getting complete noobs. Not playing this crap untill new season and a full reset.

I'm in the same boat, and for quick matches I think you should be able to specify basic team configurations if you want. I'm not so good or interested in ranking up that I lose it over massive swings in the random level changes, but I would like to be able to say, "single tank," or "double tank," I would wait for a team to come together if I didn't have to play with Brightwing, Tassadar, KT, Valla, and an Abathur as my composition.

I have been one of those KT's and the thing that i find funny is the rage people throw at me cause i can't manage to focus the enemy damage dealers, leaving out the fact that the enemy Anub or Mura is stunning the shit out of me and zoning me out.
of course i WANT to kill the enemy DD's, it's just not possible sometimes. So before i die for nothing i get some damage in wherever i can, even if it is the enemy tank.
On a another rage:
Did ppl start flaming and trolling the drafts way more since the last patch? i really feel like things got worse...
Sometimes i try to explain the concept of a double tank composition and ppl right out hate me for it...?

If you went 16-0 i completely understand why you lost. At that point, your hidden MMR is so high that the system automatically gives you very low MMR'ed members on your side while the enemy team is slightly higher than your hidden MMR. I mean you could have a hidden MMR of diamond and meet people from masters-tier while everyone on your team is low dia/plat.

Get the same guy three games in a row. On first game he's on the opposing side, and we easily win the game. The reason? Found it out way too well. I've yet to see a human being this cancerous, fucking retarded and childish. Dudes behaviour was more toxic than anything you can find in australia for fuck sake.
Literally just did not do anything all game long, cried about "blizzard matchmaking", and ruined the game for others. Okay, I got him once, no biggie, shit like this happens from time to time, can't be helped. BUT TWICE IN A FUCKING ROW. There's only so much I can handle, and this is the kind of person that seriously makes me want to punch kittens. Or that person. Until he has no fucking face left. /vent

Did he do anything report worthy? I've found a bit of qq about match making normal, but I had though that if you reported an individual, you wouldn't be matched with them. May have been wishful thinking though.

people cry all the time about matchmaking, mostly those that only want to play alongside the heroes they want with the talents they want doing what they want. People need to start playing rts again if they want that xD.
Sigh I was so looking forward to the heroes editor, so I could just make it a 1v1 game where you control all 5 heroes.

Game's on Garden of Terror. First three picks are Vikings, Muradin (me), and Jaina. Last two picks are duo queue. They select Nova and Tyrande. The Tyrande tells us that Tyrande heals just as much as everyone. Needless to say, we then proceed to waste the next 25 minutes of everyone's life.
The only bright side to this story is that I requeued afterwards and see two familiar retards on the enemy team. I first pick Zeratul and cackle with glee when they take Nova and Abathur respectively. Let's just say that neither had a good game.
