Since the beginning of HS my goal has been to gather a complete collection, so I've always kept track of how many cards I'm missing and how much dust I need to craft them all in an Excel spreadsheet. Now I've done this web site for fun which does the same thing but is less cumbersome to update, so feel free to try it out and let me know what you think.

http://freezard.github.io/hs-collection-tracker/

-Left-click on a card to add a copy
-Right-click on a card to remove a copy
-Choose whether you want to add/remove a normal or golden copy with the buttons at the top

Everything is saved locally in the browser so as long as you use the same browser and don't manually clear the storage then it's going to stay there. I've tested the site on most modern browsers (it doesn't support older versions of IE yet) and common resolutions but if you find any bugs or got any feature requests/comments, let me know!

I would use it, but I don't think I'll ever have a complete collection :p

Pretty cool. I just use a spreadsheet one that I store in Google Drive so I can access it anywhere (not limited to a certain PC/Broswer combo).

I figured it's annoying to click 1000 times if you've got a large collection, so I just added blue buttons at the top of each column that lets you fill or clear the entire column with a left or right-click. It will only affect the card quality you've selected.

Me neither! But it's still fun to see your card collection grow

Yeah, I should eventually add a way to sync the data over all devices... haven't really put much thought into that but it makes a lot of sense when I think about it.

Just added a feature that lets you know which pack to buy based on your collection. Click on the Pack Guide at the top right to check it out.

Thanks goes to Tasloy's thread on reddit and as soon as I've found the chances of getting golden cards in a pack (if they exist), I will include them as well.

Next up I will add some filtering options to the tracker like only showing missing cards or cards based on rarity/set.

EDIT: Just updated the guide to include golden cards.

sweet thanks for the tracker. It was surprisingly fast to enter my full collection (by first checking all and then unchecking what I don't own, which is mostly legendaries). I did not care about gold/non-gold though, for some cards I only have golden copies but that's enough for me

Thinking about posting in the "what card to craft next" thread, is there any way to export the list of my collection (maybe just the legendaries)?

Sorry there's no way right now since data is stored offline, it can't be shared. But I guess I can add a way to export the collection as plain text and maybe in the future I'll move over to online databases with shared collections.

I have updated the site with filtering options located below the class tabs. You can filter to only show cards from a certain card set and to only show missing cards. If you have selected the "I don't care about golden cards", then only missing normal cards are shown.

This is awesome - thanks for this. I was using a spreadsheet but it was becoming a bit cumbersome, especially for the goldens since i didnt have it seperated by individual cards. The filters and apply to all made it super easy to enter my full collection in just a matter of minutes (for the non-golden's at least). Much appreciated!

Just added options to import and export collections. Should work on all modern browsers (IE 10+) except iOS, let me know if it doesn't.

It would be sick to be able to cross reference your current collection with a large pool of user built decks and quickly sort out the ones that you have all the cards for or need a certain amount of dust to have all the cards.

Does this functionality exist anywhere?

Well the only sites I know that lets you build decks and tells you how much dust is needed are Hearthpwn and Hearthhead, not sure if you can add your own collection to these sites though but your idea sounds great. Problem is you'd need to scan all the decks from one place and I don't know if such a place exists right now.

Hey guys just added a progress page which displays how complete your collection is in detail. It's not finished yet there are some things missing and I need to work on the colors and layout... would be nice with some feedback on how you want it.

Added the new cards from the first wing of LoE and will add the rest when they're up. Going to update the progress page as well with more info.

hey,

the interface is sweet, except... could you make a toggle checkbox to add a counter next to each card's name?
I'd like to actually see what I have and what I am missing.

thanks,
Aron from Hungary

Well that's what the colors are supposed to already tell, no color = 0 cards, light color = 1 normal card and full color = 2 normal cards. Colored underline = 1 golden card, golden underline = 2 golden cards.

Hey guys, I've done some work on the progress page and now you can see your total progress for each set and also for the whole collection. Here's an example of TGT where the user has collected 67% of the cards in the set which equals 35% of the dust required to craft all the cards in the set. You can also include golden cards in the data.

Next up I will try to add a feature that will let you know which competitive decks you can craft based on your collection, similar to the one on Hearthhead, except I will probably use other sites for deck sources.

Thanks for the hard work! I've finally gotten around to using this to keep track of my collection.

One comment/request, I think it would be nice to have an option that includes cards where you only have golden versions of as part of the collection. The "I don't care about golden cards" ignores them entirely and considers your collection to be missing those cards.
Even during difficult times, when I sat down to play the game, there were times where it felt like god has descended down and played [for me].

I think Fallen Hero for the mage is out of place... not sure.

Finally got all mine entered. Didn't take as long as I thought: about 45 minutes. But, I double-checked quite a bit.

The "average pack value" is extremely interesting. Well done, and thanks.

Yeah possibly, although I don't really like to mix normals + goldens, but it at least makes sense to include them when showing missing cards for the tracker since you probably only care about having 2 copies in any rarity. If that's what you meant.

Fallen Hero was out of place and I fixed it, never even noticed that... thanks! Well 45 minutes is still kinda too long, and it only gets longer for each expansion. I was hoping there would be an API by now so I can auto-import collections from the game but it appears the guy from Blizzard that said it would "arrive soon" wasn't really accurate :<

Added average dust received from ranked chest rewards, similar to how you can see dust received from packs.

Hey all, been a while but I've just added an option to import a collection from HearthPwn, so that you can use Innkeeper to grab your collection from the game and then import it to HCT. Innkeeper is the only app I know that extracts the collection from the game, so I added this option because there's so many cards now that adding them manually is a pain.

It's located in options, and you need your HearthPwn collection to be set to public. Let me know if it works fine!

Just wanted to acknowledge the great work you've been doing. I just logged all my cards today (manually because I cba installing innkeeper) - took about 10 minutes tops. I'm a little unsure how the dust value for packs are calculated? A completely new card is worth the amount of dust I would have to spend on crafting it? By that notion, if I'm only interested in specific cards (e.g. classic or wotog), even though another set gives more dustvalue/pack it would be more worth it to buy those packs regardless right?

Thanks man, been slowly getting back to HS again. Yes a new card is worth the dust you'd have to spend to craft it. Buying packs for the set you need the most cards from makes sense It's just when you have most cards you need or just want a complete collection that you should look at pack calculators really.
