Picked rogue for the first time in arena, ended up going 9-1 thanks a lot to an ancient mage and 3 backstabs. Mmmm...4 damage minion removal for 0 mana.
Would be nice if 9 win decks went into like a hall of legends deck list or something, also you should be able to look at, at least your last arena run's deck.

I'm at 8-0 with paladin. Key cards seem to be: Sword of Justice, 3 argent protectors, 2 shattered sun clerics, 2 blessings of kings and 2 hammers of wrath. I have some questionable 1-mana cards and 2 mana cards (I have noble sac, abusive sergeant, leper gnome, elvish archer, bluegill, pint-sized and ironbeak owl, basically all fragile and limited removal) but as long as it got me enough tempo to afford a turn three Sword of Justice or Cleric I would be fine from there. Buffs and argent protectors turn shitty one and two drops into heroes.

I have to say, Swo Jo is the best thing ever in Arena. Being able to swing it for one damage mitigates the tempo hit from playing it early; often one extra point of removal is all it takes to clear his board. It's the easiest thing to keep it clear when everything you summon is stronger, and you get synergy from already-excellent cards like Silver Hand Knight. Forget about Gorehowl, I can't think of an epic I'd rather see drafted right now.

I know I'm not very good, average 5-6 wins, got to 7 once or twice, but I just1: beat a mage who played 4 flamestrikes, and then lost to a mage who had 3 flame strikes, antonidas, 2 sheeps, and a lot of other good cards. I never get to see that many good cards

You get 200-330 gold from 8 wins, probably average 240 or 250. 9 wins is worth less, maybe 210 on average? Your bonus pack/golden card at nine wins is often a sack of gold at eight.

Hey this game's pretty fun!

I am doing my 2nd arena (went 3-3 in the first with warrior

). I have 4 mind control and 2 thoughtsteal among other things :D

I just did a clutch coin -> heal myself vs hunter on like turn 6 or 7. I won that game by the skin of my teeth. Literally he had lethal minus 1 dmg the next turn due to battlecry buffs and what not. Unbelievable.

3-3 after a very lackluster Mage draft. I was only offered one Fireball, and not much other removal. It was terrible.

The pack after was amazing though. I got my first Sylvanas and a Golden Tinkmaster (I already had a normal one, so I dusted him for a Ragnaros).

Well I got offered by far the most ludicrous deck I have ever seen. Almost everything was a clear choice, plenty of spells and control. Absolutely slaughtered the first guy I faced, but that was kinda to be expected with this deck =P.

Let me know how you went with this deck, because honestly it doesn't seem that good. You must have had some pretty bad picks to pick certain spells/minions (e.g. archmage, arcane explosion, and even Argent Squire in arena isn't that great unless you have enough buffing 3 cost minions, oh and also Weapon Smith).

But I see the 'theme' you went with this deck and could see it doing moderately well. I am guessing around 5 wins? Am I totally wrong here?
