edit: decided to waste my 800 gold on packs... 2 epics which I have duplicates of already, the rest are your typical crap pack... holy crap where are my f'in legendaries over 40 packs these last months and not one to show for... you think I am going to spend $ on this game if the results yield this kind of garbage packs | ||

Paladin deck, i saw ~20 cards. 2x Argent Protector 2x Conescration 2x Hammer of Wrath Equality Sword of Justice Avenging Wrath Faceless Manipulator Aldor Peacekeeper And good neutral stuff, too. Chillwind, Taz'Dingo, Silver Hand Knight... sometimes, you just feel so damn powerless. | ||

I know there was a big thread about "Is Hearthstone pay 2 win" and it obviously isn't. It's pay to win or play a shit load to win. Unlike well developed f2p models, hearthstone only a few hours out of the gate matches you against people you couldn't possibly win against unless you threw money at it. And given the only way to play is to play against people. And people are able to enjoy the game the way it should be by constructing decks around a good variety of cards that they've either spent a thousand hours collecting or a lot of money. So I just wanted to vent a little. I think Blizzard have ultimately failed trying to do anything remotely serious with hearthstone. It'll be that fun thing you once played because new interest will very quickly dry up. At a glance the f2p model seems fine, but once you get into playing it you realise that it's a gateway to what makes the game fun. And at that point you take a look back and wonder how Blizzard presented such an amateur understanding of how f2p should and could work here. I'd happily throw em 20 bucks for all the cards. Maybe even 50. Then I can enjoy building different decks. Losing for reasons other than "Oh that guy had 3 legendaries and 5 epics whilst all I have is hogger". I'd love to play that game. | ||

And then Antonidas that spawned two more fireballs the same turn was just too much for me to handle. Fuck arena, I angrily bought a few packs (in retrospect... not proud of that :D ) and went to constructed. At least I can anticipate something there. | ||

The thing that's funny is if the bnet forums want to have high standards (i.e. code of conduct) then why are all the dumbest topics with the same whiners about the game and idiotic topics like emotes still around and not deleted? They should honestly do it like they do here on TL and just warn and ban people with a message for everyone to see, and crack down more on the stupid posters and topics rather than inconsistently mod those forums favouring the "borderline trolls and spammers" | ||
