My opponent had Cairne Bloodhoof on their board, I had a bunch of minions and a Knife Juggler on the board. I kill Cairne with one of my minions, he respawns as Baine Bloodhoof and, this is the weird part, for some reason it triggers my Knife Juggler.
Can anybody make any sense of that? It's like the game thinks I summoned a minion, but Cairne isn't my minion and when I kill him and he respawns, surely that shouldn't count as me summoning a minion? Did you kill it with a deathrattle minion that summons another minion when it die like harvest golem?

No no, then it would be obvious. It was a 3/2 Ooze buffed to 6/2 with Rockbiter Weapon! I really, really wish there were replays so I could check it again. Might have been one of those new weird bugs they introduced with the latest patch where multiple games get merged or something crazy like that.

I really suck at this game. Read everything on here for the most part, and I still get my ass kicked by people who have decent decks and arent completely new...
What kind of playstyle would you recommend for a newbie? Im trying to get into the arena, but I can't win more than 3 games before getting my ass kicked.. Then i go to play constructed and proceed to get my ass kicked there -_-

You'll be able to see more options and possibilities the more familiar you are with the game. In that vein, just stick to one deck so you can get comfortable with its options so you can pay more attention to what's possible from your opponent. Or do w/e is fun for you

I had something (somewhat) similar happen to me a while back: I played a Leper Gnome and then played Void Terror to eat it, and the Leper Gnome triggered on me and dealt me 2 damage. It ALSO dealt 2 to my opponent, which was lethal, but I had no explanation for why I took 2 damage. I don't recall if my opponent had a Leper Gnome of his own, but I know for sure that I didn't kill it.

If I play an Edwin van Cleef and then shadowstep him and play him again, will it add to his buffs? Or does it reset after he is played?

I won a lot of games with the free shaman deck so decided to play that one the most. But whenever I'm in the arena, I never get a shaman pick...and I end up having to pick a class that I dont know how to play. I pick with the tier list and try to pick with a decent mana curve, but I still get my ass kicked...I find myself trying to play aggressively, getting board control, and then I end up losing it somehow...

hello everyone, newbie here looking to improve my game. where would be the best place on this forum to go for deck advice?

I always thought that if I had a full board, Snake Trap would not trigger. Alas, it did trigger (summoning nothing). Bug or working as intended?

Is zoo warlock to the face or board control?

On March 27 2014 10:17 Cheren wrote: Is zoo warlock to the face or board control? i'm sure a much better player than i would know that fine balance, but from my limited experience i feel zoo warlock is more board control. with something like murlocs, you just swarm and smash face and hope your opponent goes down before you get blown out by a sweeper. in zoo warlock, you have tougher creatures like harvest golem and scarlet crusader that won't die to one lightning storm. i think you should maintain board control while chipping away at your opponent until you can unleash doomguard/argent commander/leeroy and finish him off
basically with zoo warlock it's not all or nothing, you're pretty strong at all stages of the game

Pretty sure that's intended behavior. It says nothing about only triggering if you have enough room in the Snake Trap card.

Inconsistent with Noble Sacrifice, which doesn't trigger when you have a full board.

Any one knowledgeable in mathematics?
If I have a spell that shoots two random minions, and the enemy has 3 minions, how high is the chance of hitting one specific minion?

Unless I'm missing something: Your chance of hitting one minion out of three with the first shot is 1/3, or 33,3%, same with the second shot. So you've got a chance of 1/3+1/3=2/3, or 66,6% to hit any minion at least once.
Or did you mean a spell that shoots two random minions at the same time? That'd still be 66,6% (since two out of three minions will always be hit).

Yeah I'm assuming you means something like Multi-shot or Forked Lightning. Conti is correct, there's a 2/3 chance for each particular minion to be hit.
