If you played arena I was going to recommend buying classic and using arena to get GvG. I feel it is better to play 100 for guaranteed GvG than to try and win 3-4 in a row, no? How much is a legendary? I'll stop buying classic packs and get GvG now There's risk/reward, yes. You pay 150 for guaranteed gvg pack, and you have the chance to just earn some dust, a little gold, maybe a common card. Usually not worth the 50g if you only win a game or two. However the upside is you make it 6-7 wins and now you're getting the pack for "free".
If you want to grind for guaranteed rewards that's totally ok, it's just a preference. I've stopped playing arena but when I was I made gold a lot faster.

Are there sketchy-looking links on this deck list for anyone else? http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/232369-superdiogos-legendary-druid-top-50-eu
There's all-caps WIN and SHARE links for me that say "Click to Continue > giftitapp" when I hover over them. At first I thought my computer had some sort of malware but:
- I wasn't getting these kinds of links on any other page on hearthpwn or elsewhere. - Malwarebytes/Windows Defender turned up nothing. - The page looks exactly the same on my phone.
Which makes me think there may be a/some malicious user(s) on Hearthpwn who add malware links to highly viewed decks.

They are just links the author embedded in his text....they dont even go anywhere so I don't know why he did.

Does Casual play have it's own hidden MMR? Or is it just random?
|
I've just logged into Hearthstone for the first time of today, and it said that I received 2 Packs from "outside the game" wtf. but I didn't buy anything, and no paypal payments have been done either.
maybe that's a reward for playing Heroes Of The Storm Beta or something? has anyone else received 2 packs (classic) today or recently?

Zeriyah (1/30/2014): This mode uses a hidden MMR rating to ensure you and your opponent should prove to be "Worthy Opponents".
has anyone else received 2 packs (classic) today or recently?
everyone on EU has. don't know of the other servers

Pardon me for asking something that has most certainly already been answered before but that I couldn't find..
What happens if my opponent has 1 or 2 life remaining and no armor and I play Barron Geddon and end my turn?
I'd imagine that Ice Block prevents death though I seem to have read otherwise.
But what happens if my opponent has played a Doomsayer and on my turn I play Barron Geddon? Does Geddon kill my opponent or does Doomsayer trigger first and kill my Geddon before it kills my opponent?

since geddon says it goes of at the end of your turn and doomsayer goes off at the start of your opponents turn I'm pretty sure geddon goes off first (if not then the card wording doesn't make much sense). not sure about ice block though

It might be not a simple question, but oh well! How possible it is that we will eventually receive alternate heroes for each class? In the fight vs Kel'Thuzad, he reacts directly to the quotes of our the current hero pool, but Nefarian refers to them by their class.

anyone else gotten a golden turnip on the panda/farm field? is it a bug?

Hi,
I know that a lot of people already asked similar questions but I didn't found the anwser to that particular one :
Do you think the 4 last wings of brm are worst it ?
Is it better than investing the farm in common/gg packs ? [I have about 80% "usefull" cards from common and gg packs (i've naxx too)]

If it's possible for Fel Reaver to be worth the horrendous draw back in something like mech shaman, how is turn 4 Mountain Giant in Handlock auto win?
I just can't wrap my head around Fel Reaver being good I guess is the real question

In short, and in my own opinion, Fel reaver works because you play him in aggro decks where you can't save up cards to play mountain giant, and of course you get him on turn 5. You wouldn't play him in control, and you wouldn't play mountain giant in aggro.

i'm new to hearthstone and im trying out druid i got some cards in packs including azure drake and ancient of war these cards seemed strong at first but every game these got silenced and easily killed so my question is is there anyway to play around silences? or are azure drake and ancient of war weaker cards?
i also have a question of what play would be the better play. i pass my first turn the opponent plays a leper gnome on his first turn on turn 2 do i hero power or use wrath. does this not matter at all or does the card draw impact the later game?
thanks if someone replies

The thing to realize about Mill is, every card you don't draw in a game has the same effect (none). That's true whether it was card that got discarded or was a card that was just left in your deck by the end of the game.
So unless you actually run out of cards, being milled does nothing but mess with your head.
