after sc you try to see everything and measure everything by how extreme you can take it. but the best thing it taught me is: people who say they are good are normally very average. people who say they are ok/not that good are usually really good. | ||

i have much less of an ego after starcraft, knowing that there is always someone better even if you give your all, someone better than that guy, someone wayyyyy better than that guy, etc. i handle winning and losing much more gracefully than before, and am more interested in learning the intricacies of and enjoying something rather than result grubbing. i tend to qualify my statements more and have no problem deferring to anyone who might be better until i know what i'm talking about. also it's really fucked up my ability to pay attention to one thing at a time | ||
