This is why I polled and bought mediums for the TL shirts, and a medium (Am s) for the MBC shirt. Do I vote "small" since you are talking about Korean shirts? Edit: nm you say "teamliquid or progaming." So ya, it depends which you mean.

In store, when I try on shirts that are medium, they fit perfectly and then after a wash or two they feel so tight. Obviously it is because of cotton material. So then I got and get some other shirts that are large but after washing it, they still feel large, wtf? I need an extra medium.

Maybe they differ in material use, one may not be 100% cotton, just a guess. http://ohioline.osu.edu/ccues/tshirt.html google update.

Basically, I think you need two polls, one for American sizes, and one for Korean. Specify the measurements as well: American - 36", 40", 44", 48" (s, m, l, xl), Korean - 38", 40", 42.5" (m, l, xl).

I know that might look like I'm some 10 year old hanging out on TL, but I'm 19, and I don't think I'm going to grow any more ![]()

Some companies I get large, and after washing them a couple times it's the same size as my other mediums...

I'm actually more on your way of looking at the shirts, but most guys I know and most on this website probably don't know or care to know enough to make as calculated of a decision as you or I on this poll. :p I'm just trying to point out that this is why the sizes sold out in the manner they did: using an American sized poll and trying to relate it to Korean sizes. In the poll, if someone votes for "extra large," you know they're getting a Korean xl. People voting "small" will get Korean mediums. Other than that, you can't tell though. People voting American "Medium" could have 38" chests (too big for Am Sm) and want a Korean medium, they could have 40" chests and want a Korean large (same size), or could want an XL because it's only 2 inches more slack, whereas an American large is 4 inches more (too much for some people). Similarly, people who vote large could want a Korean large, simple because Korean shirts are designed to fit close to your form and American shirts are not. So in this poll right now, we can't tell what 71% of the people would order for a Korean shirt. You don't have to put measurements, but I would think 2 simple polls would help a great deal: "What American size TeamLiquid shirt would you order" and "What Korean size Proteam shirt would you order." You can specify that Korean M = S-M, Korean L = M, and Korean XL = M-L without worrying about dimensions if you want. I just feel the 1 poll is what caused the problems in the first place. + Show Spoiler + ...or it could be that MBC fans are either scrawny or fat, but never in the middle.

Edit: nm you say "teamliquid or progaming." So ya, it depends which you mean. -.- Am I an idiot or did you just say you wear medium korean and medium american? Yes. One thing confusing people is that they are NOT just 1 size different, even in chest measurement. Korean shirts differ by about 2 inches per size, while American sizes differ by 4 inches per size. American sleeves are shorter and looser for the most part as well. Korean shirts taper, and look better on decently built guys, but need to be looser if your chest isn't bigger than your waist. There are a few reasons other people would order the same way as me (hence the sellouts): 1) 38" chest fits Korean medium but is too big for an American small -> Med/Med (Amer/Kor) 2) Most American sizes are made to be a little baggy, and look funny if the chest is fitted but the sleeves are loose. So 36" chest would look funny in American small -> Med/Med. 3) I had a third example but I forgot it... Someone with a 40" chest would probably get Med/Large, and someone with a 36" chest could instead get Sm/Med if his chest is close to his waist measurement. Skinny guys with a 38" chest would probably get Med/Large. That's my whole point with needing 2 polls. EDIT: What may have confused you in my post is that I put "Korean Medium (Amer Sm)" in it. I was just quoting the way they had the MBC shirts listed in the store, even though they do not measure the same dimensions. Sorry.

I was just quoting the way they had the MBC shirts listed in the store, even though they do not measure the same dimensions. Sorry. Yeah, I stuck a note about it in the store, but it doesn't describe the differences fully, and I doubt many people read it: Korean sizes differ from American sizes. A Korean Large is about the same chest size as an American Medium, but it is a little over an inch shorter. A Korean Medium is a little bigger than an American small, and a Korean Extra Large is a little smaller than an American Large. I didn't know about the sleeves either, it was hard enough finding the right chest measurements for American sizes (most charts go by size of the wearer instead of size of the shirt). Frankly, buying clothes online is a crapshoot anyway. :p
