Well, thanks for giving us a brief glimpse into how brainwashed exactly some people, like you, are.

Yeah, this guy is far far gone.
Far gone from being fed BS from the Western establishment, yes.
And my banner is a picture of Putin AND Xi, Russia alone isn't going to lead humanity into the future, it'll be mostly China, but Russia is and will continue to play an important role in shaping the Eurasia landmass into a prosperous and advancing civilization.
Contrary to what was said in the last dozen posts or so, higher ups in the US government are talking about ending the war, and putting in place something akin to the Korean situation, a Western occupied Ukraine, a bufferzone/DMZ, and then Russia:
Russia is and will continue to play an important role in shaping the Eurasia landmass into a prosperous and advancing civilization
And where exactly are these prosperous and advancing places in Russia? Because to me it seems as if Russia is anything but prosperous (except for a few Oligarchs), and definitively not advancing. Unless you count advancing backwards as advancing, but most people call that regressing.

Not sure that China leading humanity into the future is a good thing but pretty clear BRICS+ are ascending and the west is in serious decline.
EU yet again back in recession, France yet again rioting and descending toward civil war, US president Biden ending a speech a few weeks back with 'God Save the Queen'.Personally I'd say they'd have been better off spending that 150 billion on combating homelessness rather than wasting it on Ukraine, California just keeps getting worse in that regard.

BRICS isn’t an alliance and of the BRICS nations none come close to the west. Brazil is Brazil, Russia is currently embroiled in a losing war with Ukraine, nobody can stop the Indians from drinking cow urine and worrying about the periodic table, China is actually not doing terribly, and South Africa no longer has electricity.

India is doing OK but has been unable to tap their potential or fix their big problems for decades. Brazil is still divided and struggling. Chinas economy is on a tigthrope with economic collpase from their housing bubble below the hole and belt and road at risk. Everyone in this thead know how Russia is doing. SA is sliding closer to being a failed state every day if they are not there already.

I’m under the illusion that Russia is a place of less freedoms, plummeting economy, unjust war with high causality’s and low upside for those fighting it even a Russian in general. Cost is way to high especially with the risk of paying that price for nothing. I’m in the majority so someone like you can get an unreal deal from, supply is up (many less young men) and costs are way down.

While the war probably also involves causality, i think you mean to say casualty.
So NATO summit is starting tomorrow and Ukraine ought to be a major topic. Anyone has any predictions on decisions that might be reached? We practically already know there won't be any action map for Ukraine joining and it is likely they will be stuck forever in the 'doesn't meet criteria' phase. But the security architecture post-war (or post war freeze) is still largely up in the air.
I doubt anything meaningful that isn't "more support of the type that is already being given" is going to get discussed/decided on during the NATO summit. Anything more than that would be the kind of escalation NATO has been very clear about not wanting (regardless of whether or not one agrees with that stance).

First topic is probably how to make the Sweden deal fix and give something to Erdogan and Orban in return. Another thing is the NPP in Ukraine and how to keep it safe.
Orban said Hungary won't block Sweden if Turkey agrees to let it join NATO. They do plan to obstruct further EU sanctions on Russia due to one of their banks being included in the list of sanctioned entities, but so far those are two unrelated topics.

Hungary will fold in seconds if Turkey says yes. They have no real motivation to say no and the rest of NATO would tell them to get the fuck out if they block it alone.
Turkey has (had) real security concerns over Sweden but the objection to our freedom of speech laws is not supposed to be one of them. Erdogans main problems is that he had no objections in the inital unoffical discussions and then made a deal with Sweden for required changes to terrorist laws. So he can delay if he wants, and probably will. But he needs to show the rest of NATO that the concerns are legit or they will be increasingly frustrated. And while there may seem that Sweden has no options at this point there are potential severe long term consequenses if they can't solve this.

There are many inaccuracies in the video, as far as I can tell.
There were only a few instances of the Ukrainians losing a larger number of vehicles in an operation early on in the counter-offensive, and in one of them the Ukrainians were still in the staging ground (supposedly ambushed by Russian artillery). If there were numerous such debacles, the Russians would've had more footage. They were milking one such failed attack for weeks, showing it from every angle.
Bakhmut did not "flip between the Russian and Ukrainian forces numerous times". That's utter nonsense and makes me question just how closely this general is following the conflict. The city was partially captured by DNR forces in 2014 and fully recaptured by the Ukrainians after a few months of fighting. It remained under Ukrainian control until 2023 and is under Russian control to this day.
The idea that Ukraine would attempt to go through a massive, heavily fortified city like Donetsk to reach the Russian border sounds ridiculous. I don't think I've seen any other expert claim that.
Finally, half of the video talks about the layered defences and how they are slowing the Ukrainians down. That seems not grounded in reality, at least according to the available sources. The Ukrainians have, for the most part, engaged with Russian forward outposts, some scattered defensive lines and numerous Russian counter-attacks. They have reached the first defensive lines only in a handful of locations. Additionally, it's the Russian side that appears to be suffering higher casualties (certainly in terms of visually confirmed vehicle losses). It's as if that general was describing some wargaming scenario instead of what's actually happening on the ground.

iirc the General didn't say that Ukrainian troops were in fact lost during a failed operation of this sort, but he described a scenario that could unfold if they tried.
Regarding Bakhmut you're exactly right, what he described isn't what happened. During this war Russia pushed into Bakhmut and claimed the city, and that's the current situation. Ukraine is fighting over it but to no avail yet.
