I dont like his voice combined with the lyrics he sounds like the stereotypical corny white boyband type. Its just cheesy and sounds like a Savage Garden song from 1998 or something.
I think your description is absolutely correct, but I did love that late 90s r&b/pop/whatever era so I do like the song too .
Green Leaves YATTA was a solid submission imo.

OMG I love this song too. I am currently learning spanish and can almost compleltely understand it fluently and have been listening to this some for quite some time.
I also reccomend Fulanito - Cepilla Cepilla for something similar and equally awesome!
