didn't want to bump this thread before because i was going to be like the only one giving it a bad wrap lol. my gf and i really didn't enjoy this one, that's for sure. it was full of weirdness and a very messy storyline. nothing really grabbed my interest in this one. yes the visuals were pretty imaginative and well drawn, but that was about its only redeeming quality for me. that being said, the framerate at many points was jerky (ugh), especially for a cinema production. 1.5 stars.

The animation was cool, but I wasn't entertained much. I couldn't get past the first half of the movie without deciding to do something else instead. Meh.

Loved the visuals and the sheer amount of animation on the screen at one time is crazy.
The ending was really lame though. And it was one of the only animes I've liked in years.

There is one more I'd recommend, and only one more. It's called Mind Game or Mind Games.
It has a very unique animation style and is a one of a kind anime also.

Anime is generally trash though.

I also highly recommend any lube for mental masterbation to be used prior to watching either of these animated films.

I like some series where it's tough to make sense of what's going on, but I couldn't get into this movie. An example of such a series - Neon Genesis Evangelion

That's my memory of the story....

"Mind Game" is better anyways. Get high, enjoy. They dance with penis poles, which I thought was a great way of artistically portraying club dancing -_-;;

just finished it, was pretty good but I thought there would be more mystery in it but it was pretty straightforward, had some very nice scenes, the big street parade near the end, the intro, etc.

This movie is not for everyone. The mainstream audience is shifted towards the ones with high imagination and with a background culture in anime.

For me it was spectacular. The background music is one of the key factors in this movie. In the end if u want to categorize it it's a movie about imagination (not the one from SouthPark

)
