He's achieved absolutely nothing that wasn't handed to him on a plate by his Republican majorities and that's almost entirely due to his lack of intellectual curiosity. You could put anyone else in his position and the Republicans would probably have achieved everything they wanted and more. While this mess is going on, the coward is going to hide at Mar-a-Lago for the weekend. I literally don't see what the alt-right see in the guy, he's got none of the actual machismo of Putin or Duterte and none of the air of so-called "sophistication" of someone like Jacob Rees-Mogg. Literally all he does is yell into the void while Republicans like Marco Rubio walk around and pretend nothing is happening. All you have to do is read the letter Marco. Its only two pages. The US is leaving a power vacuum in the region where all factions split on sectarian and regional lines are all going to fuck shit up if given the opportunity to do so. Considering the tensions, yeah its not good especially when there's no sign of any real transition plan. When the USA left Vietnam, they didn't leave a power vacuum. North Vietnam won the war against the South and that was it.

I mean, of course put it on the alt right, but not solely. There's plenty of otherwise "normal" people that cheer for every retarded move of Trump, because usually their vision ends at around the tip of their nose.

The dysfunction only increases after the Democrats won. And they are not even in power yet.

Are you really a "normal" person if you're still cheering for everything Trump does in December 2018? If you're sympathetic to alt-right view points, like half the shit being spread by Facebook's news algorithms these days, I think its safe to say that you're part of the alt-right. I think the dam has already broken when Fox News, America's highest rated cable news channel, has no problem spewing out alt-right conspiracy theories like the whole Seth Rich-Clinton assassination bullshit. I think its starting to be safe to say that conservative America, for the most part, is aligned with the alt-right at best at this point.

People with Mattis' view on Foreign Policy have run this country into the ground since Wilson. We need less of that interventionist drivel. Then the Democrats proclaim to be for "peace" lol.

It is OK to recognize that Trump is capable of making one right decision (and I'm no Trump fan....believe me). You guys talk about Trump and the GOP initiating "senseless conflicts" but rush to defend absolute B.S. like being in Syria, the Libya interventions, etc. Pick a side and be consistent.... Yup,and there have been plenty of normal politicians who messed up so badly in Washington that a person like trump had a shot at the presidency in the first place. Even 2 years in people still don't realize that is the biggest reason. Now it is the people who voted for trump. They are the ones to blame, you could call them deplorables if you like. Trump is worried I think. People are leaving the sinking ship. Is Mueller ever going to finish his report this decade,it has been going on for as long as I can remember now.

And yeah if the president starts making military decisions without informing Defense or Intelligence or State department... well that's just complete incompetence. No other option then to quit if Mattis wanted to keep his legacy.

I mean this decision was not corroborated with any of the necessary departments. Not with any of the allies. Not with any diplomats. His motivation was either because his gut felt like it, or a call from Erdogan/Putin, or a desperate distraction for his wall plan failing. You can't be positive about this way of decision making on very very serious issues no matter your stance on the issue itself. It's just shoddy workmanship.
