All of us obviously don’t like backing the wrong horse but a lot of people can still change their minds when presented with overwhelming evidence of the contrary. The problem is that guys who really love Trump and Musk have made their whole lives about him. On one side you have guys flying Trump flags everywhere and spending thousands to put Trump’s face and ripped body on the side of everything they own. On the other side, you have Tesla fanboys constantly telling people in investment forums that Elon Musk is finally going to make FSD real and they’re going to be real sorry for doubting him any day now. You even see it on this forum, oBlade takes Musk at his absolute word despite Musk humiliating himself on the daily and Jimmy thinks no matter what Trump does is the height of genius. Doesn’t matter what either do, there’s always a secret reason that magically explains away everything. In a way these people live vicariously through guys like Trump and Musk. They consistently try to look like the big man in the room, get dunked on for being a rube, then immediately power through by not apologising, doubling down and use their immense power to punish said people for injuring their attempts at masculinity.

You are making a homophobic statement because I asked you not to randomly use my name while talking about essentially nothing. I do happen to believe there is a plausible case that the founder and CEO of the company SpaceX, which launches missions to space and the ISS for NASA, could have a valuable insight into why certain SpaceX missions to the ISS for NASA do or don't happen, an insight which a random astronaut who flies on SpaceX rockets doing missions for NASA might not necessarily be have(obviously both stakeholders are subject to their own biases). You think he's an unqualified layman. He might know more about the situation than an astronaut who isn't privy to high level politics, especially one who is agency loyal. They can see different things. They have valuable perspectives. You're entitled to your opinion, but it doesn't require "oBlAdE bLUmPf ElMo" to state it when you brought it up your own self. That's my point.

That's my point. Blade, Elon is lying, both he and SpaceX knew what the previous NASA admin decided to do. If needed the two astronauts can come down on the already docked Dragon spacecraft. They were left on the station to not interfere with the rotation of the Dragon's and to do more science. Elon is doing this for a cheap political win, and like LITERALLY every space fan (even r/spacexmasterrace) is calling out his bullshit. Just stop defending the idiot tyrant.

Another guy points out that the astronauts were just following the original plan rather than the proposed SpaceX $200 million plan to bring them back like 2 months earlier. Which Musk responds with how that person doesn’t know anything without providing any proof. Gosh I wonder why Elon Musk would love a $200 million hand out from the government to do something that was already going to be done! But no, I’m going to take Musk at his word, despite him offering zero proof of anything ever, because ??????? Keep on dickriding. It’s really up to you to interpret that as homophobic, no shame in your sexual preferences my man. By the way, I noticed how your government is scrubbing references of LGBT from whatever government website or communication sources they can find. Curious to see that you’re not calling out this type of LGBT erasure yet interpret my claim of you dick riding to be so grossly homophobic. What a joke, you’re exactly the type of person described in Falling’s post. The saddest thing is that you don’t get anything from supporting this shit. If you did, you wouldn’t be posting here.

If you bring back stranded astronauts before a crew rotation, that gives you extra seats for actual crew rotation. As it is they are using half the seats (2/4) because they need the seats to bring back the Boeing guys who did not train for a 1 year mission and are presumably being less than optimally efficient with their time, acting in some way as multimillion dollar guests rather than just pure crew, one of whom is like 60 years old. This is probably going to blow your mind but it costs money to leave them there also.

Each Crew mission is usually 4 new astronauts / cosmonauts in a Dragon. Dragon can seat 7 astronauts if need be. the "Boeing guys" is Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore. Maybe you just didnt know there was a woman on board. and i can assure you alternate mission objectives are effing BAKED IN to the system. any science experiments that can use an extra 4 hands will be used. This is NASA lol. "Less than optimal" my dude, astronauts love being in Leo and doing more science. Elon has perhaps the thinnest skin of any human on the planet, and the astronauts who are correcting his bullshit are being as careful as they can but have had enough. Elon is in the wrong here by any objective measure. If you are still taking Elon's side here, im afraid you probably should reschedule some middle school classes as an adult and wonder what the fuck happened to your life. Imagine taking a ketamine addict whos thirst for absolute power has been on full display for 6 months over 2 calm headed astronauts saying "hey can you stop lying for a moment because your making space exploration polarizing"

As long as you are a horrible enough person, willing to do and say heinous enough shit, Trump supporters will stick by whatever you say... whether you are lecturing astronauts about the space program to stick it to Biden, or lecturing computer programmers about the code used by social security to claim that the government wasted 8 billion trillion dollars. The absolute number 1 factor in whether or not something is true to these people is whether or not they would like it to be true. There's no point trying to explain this to them, because its done consciously, so they already know. Its a brick wall of stupidity.

But now I'm curious: 1) Do you take Trump's Ukraine/Zelensky assessment at face value? (That is all the words he is saying means what the average person would take them to mean: a) Ukraine is at fault for the war b) Zelensky is a dictator) 2) If so, do you believe Trump is accurately assessing the fact of the matter? 3) If you do not think Trump's assessment is accurate, is the gap between what is so and what Trump says is so sufficiently wide that you could admit Trump's judgment in geopolitics is seriously compromised?

Each Crew mission is usually 4 new astronauts / cosmonauts in a Dragon. Dragon can seat 7 astronauts if need be. You are thinking of physical seats inasmuch as they can be used for emergency evacuation, instead of the allotment of those seats for astronauts, which is constrained by the station's capacity re:resources and crew rotation plans that revolve around operation. This is NASA lol. "Less than optimal" my dude, astronauts love being in Leo and doing more science. They are not "extra" hands. They trained for an 8 day test mission on Boeing's Starliner. Now their presence means the last flight only sent up 2 crew members who had trained for long duration stays, instead of 4 crew members who had trained for long duration stays. This means that instead of 7 people who had trained for long duration stays on the station, there are 5, and 2 people who were planned 8 day guests. They are not extra hands. I will say again. They have become substitute hands. How is this not less than optimal? If any astronaut can just be swapped out, what was the purpose of specifically training for a crew rotation? Do you know that the Starliner test astronauts got the same training to be equally as effective for over half a year as astronauts who train for crew rotation, in addition to the training they received regarding their specific mission of testing the Boeing Starliner, in case of any contingency? Meaning the contingency of them remaining on station was fully prepared for? If the contingency of them remaining on station was fully prepared for, why did Starliner not launch with autonomous return software, which would be a key and obvious necessity in that contingency? We're just assuming selective competence on the part of people running things? Your stuff doesn't add up. Not that it's not necessarily plausible either way but invoking my name out of nowhere doesn't affect the situation one way or another. Most CEOs don’t talk because they know they know doodle about the technicalities and shouldn’t need to know about it in deep detail. But it’s curious one man constantly needs to prove he’s number 1 at everything. Edit: Also you are so purposefully stupid. You do know Russia is lobbing missiles and drones into Ukraine and clearly does not care about civilian casualties? Tell me how you hold a fair election in such an environment without putting Ukrainian citizens at risk.

How much someone is worth when their assets are stocks is also highly debatable. You use the latest sold stock to determine assess the value of all of them, but that is never what you get for them if you sell them, and not what you need to pay to buy all of them either.
