He says its illigal in the us to sell non authentic products so he a point right there. But I compared on my shirts that I bought at a lacoste store and the little gator on his shirts are a bit bigger and the slaves on his a little bit larger...
Actually it looks authentic tho. Remember that in the case of webshops the don't have to pay for lots of stuff that normal places do, so it might be a lot cheaper for them.
Men's lacoste have two buttons, the alligator is a sewn on patch not a stitching and it should lie in between the two buttons. Other than that, good luck.
Also Id like to add be VERY wary of discounters. Nearly all brand name companies would rather destroy their overstock than sell them to discounters in order to maintain their image. Companies like Louis Vuitton and Hermes are notorious for this. Hermes allegedly has people patrol ebay to look for genuine, second hand hermes products and purchase them at very high price. I'm not sure if Lacoste practices this, but watch out just the same.
They are not authentic! The crocodile is too far down, and they do not offer detailed shots to definitively prove the authenticity of the product. Plus, all the brands they offer are ripe for rip-offs, and a poorly made website like that stinks of it.
Watching people line up to pay 100 bucks a pop for these fucking things makes my head hurt. No offense if you wear it, but you're buying into this designer tennis wear BS.
just bc u cant afford it dont mean they are shitty ahhah no im just kidding.. I dunno why I like lacoste a lot like way better than american eagle or abercombrie or hollister and that shit.. and its pretty much all I wear from boxers to socks , watch, colon hat everything ^^
i guess its just based on taste and likes
like we would say in spanish entre gustos no hay disgustos
I like the gator symbol I like its small logo on the shirt, its not one of those shirts that has a big ass logo or has the name on big ass letters like saying look i bough this shirt and i want everyone to know the brand and think im cool I only wear collar shirts I play tennis In my town , no one really wears lacoste, so I never go to a party and have the same shirt as someone else, lol one day some dumb ass ask me if i was a hardcore Florida Gators fan and I was like wtf? no why? hes like your wearing a a gators shirt and hat and shoes and i like holy fuck what a moron. I like the way they fit me

a good polo shirt is good for almost any occasion. as long as you dont POP your collar like a damn scenester with sun glasses on. Also Locaste and other high end brands have better fabric, longer "shelf" life (meaning they dont fade as fast getting that cheap old navy look).

Polo doesn't have a big logo, they make shirts with collars. Only difference is the price and the symbol. But Polo shirts have a few different symbols on them. Now, you said you don't want to look like you're bragging, but you choose a $80+ shirt, over something like polo for 25 - 50 dollars a shirt? Weird...Sounds like bragging to me.
Actually some of the best shirts I ever had were Lacoste. Were always my favourites, lasted long and didn't fade as quick. Also the material was nice, and they never itched or scratched anywhere.
So yeah, nice stuff, but pricey. If you have the money to spend on it, by all means do. If it's too pricey, you can always choose cheaper stuff, the difference is not THAT big, but there is some difference :/

this same thing applies to designer jeans etc.
Depends how you wash them, how long the color takes to fade.

Spit it out.
It's a fashionable, trendy brand and people like being fashionable and trendy.
I've seen a cheap lacoste pique polo for 49.99$ online. The others went for 70+. 35$ sounds a little too cheap to be real comparing to other online stores. Not that I care about pirated clothing but then 35$ is to much to pay if it's not genuine. Another possibility is that they stole a truckload somewhere in the world and sell it online.
The polos are not real. I reconize the packaging pictures that they posted up. I seen shelves of that exact packaging in Vietnam (all fakes). I could be wrong but I wouldnt risk it. For 40 dollars I would say go to a thrift shop and find some lacoste polos. The reason why they are so good is because they are classics and well made. My sister still has her polos from back in the 90's where is was like half the price of what it is now.
edit- you mentioned the sleeves being bigger than your lacoste polo, then its a definite fake. lacoste (or any other high end brand) is very precise and consistent with their sizing and cuts.

Super expensive polo, what is not to LOVE!?
I think they could be legit but w/e. I've never thought Lacoste was a super high end brand to begin with, i dont think its uncommon or out of the question that their old stock would find its way to discounters.
why do locoste polos cost so much? I mean the short sleeve ones, they dont like like particularly high quality or nice material or anything and for a polo anything that isnt like anything special is retarded to buy for like over 20-30$
I have plenty of golf polos that cost like $20 that look exactly the same and isnt a walking billboard
Im not trying to turn this into one of those type of threads were people get all hippish and like compllain about namebrand/designer clothes but I was just curious since I havent been into the whole preppy fashion crowd since highschool.
I think it simply comes down to the quality and the fit. I have a bunch of cheap polos from random stores, and also 1-2 Lacoste polos. The days I do wear polos, I usually wear Lacoste, simply because they feel better, look nicer (the color primarily; my other polos seem so dull and bland, probably from fading etc.), etc. Plus there are just times where it'd be nice to dress fashionable and trendy as someone said - not so much to be a walking billboard or wannabe scenester (I hate it too), but from the positive benefits you get from wearing something that doesn't look like you've had it since middle school, despite it being a polo.
Lacoste is what "trendy" frat boys wear because they think it makes them better and more fashionable than the people who wear AE, Hollister, Abercrombie, etc.. The construction is very good. The buttons are mother of pearl. The fit is usually right on. Spending $70 is justified, but they make you look like a douche bag.
There are way cooler polos out there (well, as cool as a polo can actually be..).

Sorry but polo is 60 + and up (unless on clearance)
they are fake because the gator is suppose to lower. trust me. suppose to very close to the end of the the lil strand where the buttons are at. its too high up.

I own too much Lacoste right now, but yes - their fit is good, and you can get them for like, 52$ a polo at outlet stores (which is much preferable than spending that money on a shitbrand like Abercrombie).
Nobody looks like a douche wearing Lacoste, its just when it's pink and you pop your collar. Oh and make sure if you wash your shirts, make sure you didn't do a bleach cycle before that, the residue bleach owns clothes...

I spent a couple minutes trying to figure out wtf a colon hat was.
Its a factory supplier? I mean they sell to people who want to sell.. Do this products look legit and authentic? I mean lacoste polos for $15 minimum to buy 15 in one order?
The site look more legit, but I would still say it's fake. You're not going to get Lacoste that cheap, sorry. The best you'll do is likelyaround $50, and you'll have to search for that (and it probably won't be online).
So I had a little chat with some guy who said to be a Manufacturer and had Lacoste for sale $10 each min order 50 and now Im dissapointed...LOG..

Basically makito is some rich kid in Columbia that has nothing better to do than to show off his wealth by buying a "brand name". That's what the company is trying to sell- the value added is the knowledge that whoever is buying it has $$.
Obviously the kid can't admit that to himself so there's need to pressure him so hard, you meanie.

For god's sake, the kid has a fucking free ipod link in his profile/quote.
Hey fellow TL ppl, yesterday i went and bought 10 pairs of oakleys shades for 8 bucks each at a shitty looking store that were selling fake pokemon cards and I LOVE NEW YORK tshirts. I'm not sure if its real so i compared it to my friend's oakley shades and mine has a different pattern on it and the paint sort of keeps falling off. Is this the new color changing design from oakleys where the black paint falls off and reveals a new brownish cream color that looks like cheap plastic?
oh and i went back to the shop and talked to the guy who sold them to me and i video taped the whole thing brb let me upload to youtube so you all can watch it.
GET REAL ASSWIPE
seriously, get real. and if you really care so much about it being authentic then why didnt you go to the official retail store and buy it there. quality guarantee and everythign compared to buying like so many of them online? then coming here on TL and posting their website and posting chat logs with their manager? what exactly are you trying to prove? that they make fake shirts? well then obviously its the consumers fault for buying it at such an obviously cheap price so dont go all ballistic if its fake. are you trying to prove you got ripped off? well im not sure cuz if i met you in a fake lacoste shirt i dont really give a shit, do your friends give a shit if youre wearing 80 dollar shirts? or are you trying to say that the world is turning into a big fraud? like wtf is your motive????
