Rolling this weekend for the first time at Skylab. Really excited. What I've got is very crystalline. Looks like sugar up close. Lemme know if you're going to skylab it's gonna be sick.
I just got 1.5oz of mushrooms I'm gonna pawn off on my friends and myself. Took a cap and a stem 4 hours ago and it made me all tingly, but I didn't want to trip. It was fun though... Trying to keep serotonin stores up for Saturday.
Just saying hi to the high section of TL. Man it's been a long time since i've been on here things have really changed.

Its called spice and its getting really popular among my group of friends. Its smells like oregano and looks like spice / oregano, but its gets you high almost exactly like THC. From what i hear its not exactly like the high from bud though.
It doest come up on drug tests and gets you high like Mary J. Buuut, its outlawed in all of Europe and from what I understand its different spices sprayed with a chemical that is a synthetic cannibiod meaning its new and not regulated or recognized by the FDA yet! Dont smoke it! Why smoke some weird unknown chemical when you have the real thing?
lol don't believe the hype on those products, my friend who smokes lightweight bought two 3g bags of Spice from a website and we both tried it. you can sorta feel like... "not sober" i guess, but it's nothing like getting stoned off some real weed. think of it more like a small hit of salvia if you've ever smoked that. it also tastes bland and is harsh compared to weed, even in my bong with trashcatcher attached. my friend said he felt pretty "high" but could tell it wasn't weed. maybe its my tolerance i dunno but since its more expensive than weed, i think it was $100 for the 6g he bought, i can get a lot more real bud from the club for $100.

Follow that chain of videos. It explains a pretty simple set up for indoor hydro growing.
dam man that was a sick video, thanks a lot.
Do u keep the mother alive just to keep regrowing clones? How come the mother (in the vegetative room) doesn't grow any bud and the clones do? Because of the kind of lighting? the CO2? If you were to decide to grow the mother plant directly, without growing clones, could you straight up skip the vegetative phase altogether?
Also, is there any way to know what gender you are getting when buying seeds? it would suck getting a male haha
The thing that gets to me is the "spice" is something added to plant matter, the plant matter in question does not matter and any distributor could use whatever is easy for them to get a hold of.
I am ALL for smoking our wonderful herb, but I will not smoke ANYTHING that I do not know EXACTLY what it is and where it came from.
Also a group of my friends (all adults over 40 I worked with in a restaurant) who were in drug court (Utah is gay as fuck about drug court >.<) and couldnt smoke or even drink. So they started smoking this "spice" and the most they had to say about it was things like
It makes them feel very dizzy, sometimes even long after they have smoked any, LONG. Standing up required actual effort and such.
Feeling straight up strange was something one said
blah blah other bad stuff, Im high and this was a while ago, but they had some nasty stuff to say about spice.

I only have basic knowledge, but...
Yes Because the mother is actually just the plant in vegetative state, as opposed to flowering lighting for mother can be purely CFL, FL, CO2 doesn't really matter unless in big amounts You dont actually "grow" the clones, its just a section of stem/plant that you cut off, so yeah you could put the mother into flowering straight away (but if its been recently cloned it will not bud much)
the reason for clones, if the video hasnt told you, speeds up the production cycle, when clipping clones they save you about 2 weeks rather than from seed. You can flower them directly after clipping, but for bigger yeilds, longer in veg the better.
^also the thing in spice is JWH-018(and other syn cannabinoids), which in large doses can be very dangerous.
a mother is a plant you keep indoors under 24 hour lighting, you take clones, or clippings off the mother, plant them in some pots, and put those under 12/12 lighting, and they will flower and make buds. you can keep a mother indefinately, as long as you keep it under close to 24 hour lighting cycle. growing weed is not hard, getting a good harvest from it though is another thing.
edit: as for getting seeds, you can order feminized seeds from seedbanks online. they are somewhat more expensive, but you get a 99.9% chance of a female from each seed. if you have seeds already, a rule of thumb to see if its a female is to look at what you would think as the "bottom" of the seed, if it has an volcanoish indent, its probably a female, if it doesn't and it sticks out, probably a male.

Isn't the light from the Flowering Cycle a bit too strong for a growing seed though?
Also he didn't go into the nutrients he puts in the water in the flowering cycle. What are the best nutrients you feed clones with?
You dont actually "grow" the clones
Doesn't it "grow" from 1 little branch to a huge ass plant? Do you mean it doesn't grow in the sense that it doesn't start from seed?
but if its been recently cloned it will not bud much
It's best to use metal halide for vegetative growth and high pressure sodium for flowering.
With clones you use the same nutrients that are used in any kind of grow. There are different brands and types of nutrients for soil or hydro. Also, you use different nutrients for the vegetative and flowering phases. Fox Farm and General Hydroponic are common brands.
A clone will grow into a normal sized plant just as a seed would. It just takes less time. And of course it's a clone of the mother so the qualities will be very similar. So you want to pick a fine specimen as the mother.
Man. Last night, I had the most ridiculous Lucy bender... Have you ever noticed how people gravitate toward your trip? I always end up with stragglers and such. Seriously, though. I feel like death. AND AWESOME.

Ok thanks. but i'm still confused on how to use these nutrients and how often I should spray them with it. I've heard people say they need watered 3 times a day, and some say once every 3 days??
I don't plan on using a hydroponic system and want to water by hand w/ a simple sprayer. Would I put the nutrients in the sprayer with the water? and do I determine how much nutrients I need by measuring the pH of the soil??
You just put the nutrients into the water you're feeding them. You can simply follow the directed amounts the nutrient companies give. The amount of time until the next watering varies depending on temperature. It's generally pretty close to 3 days, definitely not multiple times a day. You can stick your finger down in the soil a few inches to feel if its dry or not. The most common newb mistakes are over watering and over feeding nutrients.
It's important to keep the pH of your soil in a healthy range or else the plant will lockout nutrients. Here's a good thread on how to test the runoff of your soil and adjust:

no you do NOT want to use nutrients at full strength with your plants. especially miracle grow and shit like that. if you have specific cannabis formulas from a hydroshop, then you can use the recommended amount, but stuff you get from home depot for tomatos or whatever will damage your plant at full strength and hurt the end product. i suggest growing without any nutrients at all if its your first time, you will undoubtably come across some issue with the plant which you will have to remedy without having to worry about if its the nutrients. get some iguana juice from a hydroshop, both veg state and flower state ones. you won't be disappointed believe me.
