Yes. Strache claims in the video that he has an informant with pictures of Christian Kern (2017s head of the social-democrats and former chancellor) that show him grabbing a black underage person and also of Sebastian Kurz's sex orgies and drug abuse.
When Strache stepped back in the morning he publically said, that he had already appologized to Sebastian Kurz for spreading rumors about him. I guess this is what he meant.
According to FPÖ-circles there is going to be a new election. They didn't want to make concessions to the conservatives, namely sacrificing their interior minister and mastermind Herbert Kickl.

I have no clue or background information on that twitter account. I haven't seen that video in mainstream media so far, although it has been up on this twitter account for over 5 hours. The comment above the video says:

There have been rumors on Sebastian Kurz's sexuality for years. That he is gay, that his longtime girlfriend is only a PR thing and they are not really in love.
I have personal information out of Kurz's enviroment that suggests he has had sex outside of his relationship. Also a conservative I know that used to be deep in the youth organizations of the ÖVP has personally told me about youth parties with drug abuse and sex orgies.
Since I consider my sources trustworthy, I wouldn't be surprised if Strache has actual material on this.

I think everything is quite uncertain at this point. It depends on how things are getting spun in the next weeks. It is quite possible, if not even highly probable, that Kurz will profit from this in the elections, because FPÖ voters are not going to change to the social-democrats, Greens or neoliberals. And I don't believe Kurz voters will hold him responsible for being in a coalition with the FPÖ. This seems to be a core message of Kurz so far as well. That he did not have any choice to begin with, because social-democrats didn't want to reform the country and the other parties were too small last time, so the FPÖ was the only option and the general work of the government was great anyways.
On the other hand, I do not believe the FPÖ will drop much below 20 percent in a new election. They have many popular people that can and will take over the party and a big, loyal base.

Kurz is the most popular politician in Austria at the moment. He will probably gain quite a lot from the last elections as he has "proved himself" aka didnt screw up so much the last 2 years.

According to the ÖVP the chancellor will release the interior minister Herbert Kickl today. In this case, the FPÖ has declared that all their ministers will immidiately step back.
The FPÖ is riding heavy attacks on Sebastian Kurz today. Their message seems to be: Yes, Strache did something inexcuseable and had to go. There needs to be a clearing what actually happened. But the FPÖ as party is clean and has immidiately done everything they could to continue this coalition. As it turns out Sebastian Kurz tried to use this as an excuse to remove the interior minister and turn the government towards the left.
Also interior sources tell me that large parts of the conservatives seem to be quite pissed on Sebastian Kurz for letting it come this far.
The social-democrats have cancelled both coalitions with the FPÖ (in the region Burgenland and the third biggest city Linz). This will make it harder for the Sebastian Kurz's whataboutism strategy. The ÖVP is now the only party in bed with the far-right.
Update: Chancellor Kurz has given a brief statement in which he pushed the narrative, that sadly the FPÖ - despite the good coalition - simply does not see the necessity to clean up. Therefore it had to end.
Furthermore he declared that we must not let communists take over the EU in the upcoming election. He fears that the FPÖ scandal might trigger the wrong reaction in Europe.
I wish Strache would release the information on the drugs that Kurz is abusing. They must be very strong.

At the moment he does not have any big rivals internally and this won't change until the next election. He took over the party under strict conditions. All his ministers are either loyalists/friends or have been recruited outside of party circles.
The tensions are coming from economic interest groups, old conservatives and the Austrian states. They want more influence again and are wary about all the concessions he has made to the FPÖ, including a lack of critical comments on far-right incidents and also his populist comments towards the EU, media and refugees.
But Kurz will obviously run for chancellorship and the ÖVP will stay in line behind him. A possible scenario is, that Kurz wins the election and gets into some coalition with a clear claim to the throne, but has to make concessions to his party as well. This would make it harder for him to keep his hardliner image, in particular if he does not bond with the FPÖ again, which is something many conservatives openly demand these days.

The backgrounds of the video are unknown, which includes the date when it was leaked. The Süddeutsche Zeitung and Der Spiegel do not release their sources. It is said that Boehermann knew, because the sources have showed him the video as well, but he didn't take it. However, today he has released a 3 day countdown website that has sourcecode information including the name "Ibiza" and a teal background color (Sebastian Kurz's chosen color). We'll see if he has something or is just making fun.

What we know is that it has been a setup. The alleged niece of a (real) Russian oligarch has been in contact with Johann Gudenus for months and also after the meeting in Ibiza.
There has been a meeting afterwards in which the alleged niece of the oligarch asked for a proof that the FPÖ is serious about giving her infrastructure contracts. She demanded a press release about Hans-Peter Haselsteiner (the current main contractor of public infrastructure contracts)
The FPÖ released such a statement and they added funny tags to it: wer/zah/lts/chaf/ft/an
Which is a German saying: "Wer zahlt schafft an" (Translation: "Who pays is in command").
There are various theories around who made the video.
- Investigative journalists/actionists like Boehmermann or the German "Center for political Beauty"
- ÖVP-circles ("Cui bono?" theory)
- security services

So for 2 less months of Kikl they are ready to endure years and years of Kurz? Man no wonder the SPO has lost almost all elections. This is the perfect opportunity to get rid of Kurz for all time

So let's play this scenario through:
Step 1: The SPÖ does not seek a compromise in the next days and wants to support a vote of no confidence and the FPÖ does so as well.
Step 2: I am not certain, but since this goes against the chancellor I believe the whole government has to step down.
Step 3: President Van der Bellen has to seek a new chancellor, that won't run into a vote of no confidence until September.
Step 4: Kurz will run again.
Question 1: Does this increase the chances to win the election for the SPÖ?
Question 2: Will it be in the interest of the state?
I don't see this being advantageous for the SPÖ or the state in general.
Update: All FPÖ ministers will step down. Hofer/Kickl may support a vote of no confidence against the chancellor.
Update: In contrast to what she said yesterday, that she wants the defense minister, interior minister and infrastructure minister to step down and be replaced with experts, the head of the social-democrats Pamela Rendi-Wagner has declared she wants a pure expert government. So it seems like they support a vote of no confidence at the moment.
