if it's been going on for so long then you're not gonna get out of it at your ease. First get some self-confidence, then next time he tells you that you walk up at him real calmly, you look at him straight in the eyes and you tell him in a very, very serious tone "my name is ( ), not "chink" or "gook", so if you want to talk to me you're gonna use that name". that's my way of doing it, but it's not the words that matter, more your attitude. If you're being really serious (and confident of your own worth) he'll understand. The best way would've been to originaly take it nicely and joke around with it, but since he's been stepping on you for 2 years you haven't got many other ways to equal things up. | ||

The majority of my friends in life have been minorities due to my neighborhood and schools so ive made jokes about them but all in fun and never to try to embarass them, only for laughs. Him saying it outloud infront of everyone in your class is very weak. Maybe he thinks you dont care though since you let it go on for 2 years. Don't do what these other guys are saying regarding getting in a fight. Those suggestions are probably coming from other abused children acting out their own fantasies. I've seen kids take on bullies before. Getting their asses kicked CERTAINLY does not help their situation. My best advice is to learn to laugh at yourself - it makes others get less of a thrill from doing it. I always found that the asian kid or the little mexican kid in my classes growing up was always the guy with the best sense of self-depricating humor, since he needed it more than anyone else.
