Unless you have a BDSM wedding, no one is going to know what you do in your bedroom. However, that is more of a challenge for folks or are gay, as they need to do all the other stuff in life.

Also, horse armor, duh.

I have no problem with homosexuals. In fact, on my high school wrestling team, I knowingly wrestled with homosexuals in tournaments and even on my team (so don't take this a homosexual hate post). I think that it's important to recognize the direction that the world is moving and move with it. You can have contradictory opinions regarding an issue, but if you express yourself be prepared to fight for what you think. We are equal in the sense that EVERYONE has the RIGHT to express an opinion, not in the sense that there are an equal amount of views on a particular subject.

TL as a private entity has the right to express itself as an individual. You may agree or disagree with the opinions expressed on the site, and that is your privilege to do so.

I think that the majority of the people on this site are young new age liberals and progressives. Don't be surprised at the reaction you get if you same something contradictory to the forward thinking view. Just be prepared to take a lot of flak and suck it up.

I see where you're coming from. Consider your opinion equally considered <3.

While I strongly disagree with your views, I must say I'm impressed with your maturity acting as a voice of the minority on this site.

I really do wish more of the people who disagree with homosexuality were like you.

That's so stupid. There are all kinds of deviants. If my next door neighbor is a zoophile, why do I need know that? I don't try to burst into his dormitory to check out what's he doing there, why does he have to push his deviancy to me and my children?

I was a big TL fan, but this is sooo disappointing...

What's your fucking solution then? You do accept that people can't choose their sexual orientation, correct? If they aren't hurting anyone with their actions as homosexual relationships are like any other "normal" relationships between two consenting adults, what's the reason to hate them for who they are? I suspect it's to make insecure little shits feel better about themselves by discriminating a group of people for something they cannot choose.
Oh look, that's exactly the same as racism, sexism or nationalism.

It's because of ignorant people like you that people feel the need to show themselves to the world and let them know that they aren't different from you and me. Ideally there should be no "gay pride" parades. But because there has been a long history of hate and discrimination, there's an attempt to fix that by being a little bit more "in your face" than maybe you would like.

I don't tell Chick fil a how to run their company and that guy shouldn't tell teamliquid how to run their's either. If you don't like their policy about basic human equality then don't come to teamliquid. I don't go to chick fil a and yell at the people who work there. While you are at it stop using Google, don't buy Microsoft or Apple, don't drink Budweiser, don't go to Target, stay away from Amazon, refrain from wearing Levi's, don't travel with Expedia, and stay away from most tech companies. Because all of these companies are pro-equality, and pro rainbows.

Rainbows are extremely fascinating btw, I love how white like travels through prisms to seperate into colors.

Its modern Christianity that attempts to resolve the conflict between the teachings in the bible and modern society. They object on principle that being in a homosexual relationship is against the teachings, but refuse to take any action further than "objecting". This includes voicing the objection. The entire process in internal and has not effect on anyone unless you direct ask the person. To do anything further would require the Christian to do social harm to themselves and the gay person. As that goes against their teachings, they simple object, but keep it to themselves.

Although as a Christian, I do not agree, I cannot fault the practice. It harms no one and it part of the process of resolve religious teaching's conflict with modern society.

I think the biggest difference is BDSM and most other sexual deviance (aside from like necrophilia/beastiality/incest/rape) aren't legally discriminated against. They're looked down upon socially, but that's still a pretty big difference than saying a couple into BDSM is not allowed to marry; or have certain rights.

The interesting thing is that when people talk about gay marriage, most of the time nobody is actually preventing gays from having a ceremony, saying vows, living together, being monogamous, etc.

The issue is taxpayer funded subsidies for couples.

Do people really have a right to taxpayer subsidies? These subsidies were intended to encourage child birth, so it doesn't really make sense to subsidize same-sex couples.

I'm a resident of Arizona, US. Gay marriage is not legal here. Despite my reservations about certain aspects of the homosexual debate, I do support the legalization of gay marriage completely. I 100% agree with your statement. The pursuit of happiness (love being one part of such a pursuit) is a right of every citizen, and that right isn't being met.

Its because the Christian lobby is the primary force behind denying equality to homosexuals. If you think that the lobby is meek and doesnt stand up for itself, why do you think this topic is even an issue? What other social majority is opposing equality for homosexuals?

It's much easier to play the victim than understand and admit to your faults.
