My favorite is a chicken salad sandwich with soup and crackers.

Canned Chicken Breast
Some Mayonnaise
Some Almonds
Some Celery
Little bit of Apply
Little bit of Pepper

For soup I just use Campbell's canned soup. It tastes amazing for being canned, but I usually have to dilute it with water. The salt content is just way too high. Some of the good tasting soups are low-fat, so it won't be that bad for your health.

Anyone else? I'm kind of stumped as to what to make for lunch this week

Egg Salad is good, but boiling the eggs is kinda bitchy. I like to have boiled eggs on hand so I don't have to wait. Excellent with soup.

5 hard-boiled eggs
Jar of Mayonaise
Bread
Lettuce (optional)
Can of your favorite soup (mine is Campbell's Beans with Bacon)

-Mash up the eggs and mix with a scoop of mayonaise in a bowl (not too much, it'll be gross, unless u LOVE mayo ).I use a fork to press the eggs when mashing, get all the globs of mayo mixed well. BEWARE! This part can make your home smell like nasty for about an hour (remember to turn on any kitchen vent fans!)
-Put in the freezer (egg salad is better chilled, and begin heating a can of soup.
-When soup is done, take eggs out of freezer, smear it on some bread, salt and pepper, lettuce.
-YUM!!! Dip the sandwhich in the soup, it's sooooo goood. You should have enough to make at least a few sandwhiches.
Subway food :o
I totally agree, but we are amongst a bunch of Subway haters, if I remember correctly!

spaghetti + salad

A meal I made quite often in my college days (I'm still in college but living at home t.t).
Boil pasta, then throw on cheese (parmasean or shredded mozarella, etc.) and spaghetti sauce! Then get some ready-mixed salad and throw on croutons and dressing. Voila, healthy and delicious! You can also throw in some Texas Toast in the oven. Well Texas Toast isn't so healthy but it's damn good.

or

rice + bulgogi + kimchee. Its especially easy to make if you have the microwavable cooked rice packages and frozen bulgogi. Then you can just get a big jar of kimchee since you don't have to worry about it going bad.

Freshly baked stickbread, lots of creamy butter (82% fat) with some salt sprinkled on.

But i love nearly all kinds of sandwiches, i eat them with soup for dinner, not only for lunch.
Can't really think of sandwitch ingredients i don't like, anything from tomato to cheddar cheese to hamburger to chorizo to pesto, just some combinations don't work too well, but all of them are nice.

My god.. My English is so poor when it comes to food and preparing it =[

Correct me please and maybe I'll learn something! Anyway Take out a chicken fillet from the freezer and fry it with just a little oil.. Just a little salt needed nothing else imo. Then in the mean time split a baguette in a bottom and top and then butter it..
Cut some sallad, cucumber and tomato for it aswell!

Then there you go.. like 10 minutes and done.. It taste really fresh and if you use a better bread and go easy on salt butter etc then it's just fine=)

Oh I can totally figure boil works fine to... But what I meant was doing it in a fryingpan not making something disgusting and fat out of it...

Oil is the better choice to fry in if you use the correct oil

a homemade pasta that i really enjoy:

dice and sauté a whole onion (small/medium)
dice 150 grams of shaved black forest ham, add to onions and sauté.
add 200-300 grams of rotini pasta (cooked to your liking)
throw in 1/3 cup of grated parmesan cheese (or less if you don't like that much).
mix.
melt 1/2 cup of grated chedder cheese on top.

If you're using a non-stick pan, keep the temperature at medium throughout the whole process (including melting the cheese). The noodles/ham/onion get crispy on the bottom and are the best part of the whole dish.

enjoy!

P.S. this dish is humbly known as: Cheese Noodle.

edit - quantity of ingrediants is approximated. i never measure, i just throw in the amount that feels right.

edit edit - errr, i do feel that the approximations are good though.

oh! i was inspired!

another pasta dish (on the spicy side of things!) meant as a side dish for multiple people!

dice and sauté a whole onion (large or 2 medium onions)
dice 200 grams of hot capicolli ham, add to onions
dice 1/3 of a green pepper, add to onions
dice 100 grams of pepper ham (can be replaced with shaved cajun chicken)
sauté all together
cook 450-600 grams of rotini (to your desired tenderness)
add 1/4 of creamy caeser salad dressing.
add 1/3 cup of grated parmesan cheese.
mix. add to casarole dish
grate 3/4 cup of jalepeno moterey jack cheese and spread over pasta. stick in oven and broil until cheese turns golden brown.

the last step could be replaced with just keeping pasta in pan and cooking medium. this will create the crispy bottom like the other one has. however, this dish looks so good with the melted golden cheese *drool*.

enjoy !

this dish was created by myself a month ago. i've made it 3 times. never been disappointed. i'm thinking about adding some banana peppers.. yum :X

Kinda true. I have eaten it for 4 days straight at lunch. Only because for 2 American Dollars you can get a decent sized chicken sandwich and medium fries, it's hard to pass when your hungry and don't got much money.

Kinda true. I have eaten it for 4 days straight at lunch. Only because for 2 American Dollars you can get a decent sized chicken sandwich and medium fries, it's hard to pass when your hungry and don't got much money.

im eating mcdonalds right now

Wow so many recipees, I'll include mine too.. Simple to prepare eh?

- Whole meal bread... Whole meal smells a lot nicer than white bread if you aren't a fan yet.

1) Honeybaked Ham, smoked ham, anyother kinds of ham you like
2) Hard boiled eggs meshed maybe prepare like 3 eggs or more.
3) not too much mayonaise
4) Lettuce, It's a must, without it tastes just meaty
5) Peanut Butter spread
6) Kaya spread
7) Tomatoes
8) Nutella spread
9) Smoked salmon
10) Fresh Tuna

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: all ingredients MUST be chilled for MAXIMUM PLEASURE!! If you need to bring to work or school and it has to last, it's worth investing in a nice insulating lunch box.

Final step: Choose any 5 ingredients from the above list of 8, with a maximum of 2 spreads and maximum 2 meat and presto, you are good to go! YOu can make 2 or even 3 layers bread. Hope you enjoy my recipee..

Omlette is so easy and good.

Crack 3 eggs into a bowl, whisk with a fork. Add some tomatoes, onions, green peppers, etc. Pour into pan. Flip. Fold over and put some cheddar in the middle. Let it melt. Slide onto plate.

Bagel
Pizza Sauce
Mozzerella cheese
Optional meat toppings

1. Cut bagel in half
2. Put toppings on.
3. Toaster oven for good taste or microwave for softness
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

nachos!
tortilla chips
ground beef
chopped tomatoes
chopped onions
cheese
sliced jalapeno peppers (if you can take it)

brown beef in pan with a little oil. salt and pepper
spread chips on a plate, add the other toppings ending with cheese
microwave til cheese melts
oven is better but takes a bit longer

finish with goacamole/salsa/sour cream
Yea that looks just like Kang Min... amazing game sense... and uses mind games well, but has the micro of a washed up progamer.
