I think I payed $40 for starcraft 2 when I bought it at wallmart because they gave me a giftcard back just for buying the game. Even if I had payed $200 it would still be my best spent money. your comment means that you did never play BW, so that mean you never used your best 20$ monies ...

Another say 70$ was my share in a trip to Anaheim MLG last summer with some buddies.
Other than that all I got is $500 for a complete and meticulously and miraculously clean 1966 Ford Fairlane. Problem? 1. The engine is not as nice as the interior 2. The tires all went flat. ALL of them man. It's a money pit.
In other words I'm not good with money.
Nice thread.

1. 750,- Euro (put it together by myself, else it would have costed 1.200 euro) for my actual PC (he never let me down and gave me so much in return, lol)
2. 99,- Euro (special offer!!!!) for a weekend with my girlfriend in a small pension on the coast of the Baltic Sea. This was 10 Years ago when we both had no money - the weekend was perfect!
3. 400,- Euro for a 3 Day trip to Prague with my girlfriend. (we stayed here: http://www.arthotel.cz/en/ and I can recommend going there without a doubt)

Under $20, my subscription to pandora radio, it may not be the best platform for listening to the music you want to, but I discovered so many new artists through it
2 digits, A pair of athm50-s headphones (RRP is like 180 where I live, so getting them for 95 unopened was a huge bargain)
3 digits, either my PS-vita for the hundreds of hours I haven't been bored on public transport / waiting for class to start, or my thousands of MtG cards, through which I have met many great friends and had a ton of fun in tourneys

Best $60 was on SC2.
I could never get into BW just because of the horribly clunky UI.
I don't remember the price I bought them at, but between $20 and $40, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and Star Wars: Empire at War also gave me a ton for my money.

One month ago I got my 'Civilization V Gods & Kings Expansion' by paying 10 TL (6 $) from a technology store. I wait for some and Steam did a midweek madness(%75 woah) on Civ5 to let me buy the original one at 7.5 $. Same expansion also cut by %75 but still around 7.5 $ or so.
Funny thing is, the box I bought writes 60 TL (~35$) on it, I tried my chance at the counter and booom 6$. I think there was a mistake and I abuse it happily. Buying box copies in my country is not a tradition and clerks have no idea what they costs.
Also another thing, I went to Japan at 2010 to travel around. I found a boutique Jazz bar in a random building in Shinjuku. When I enter the flat(it is an apartment flat btw), I saw 4 people looking at me from the corner of the bar and I thought myself 'crap, this sucks'. But couldn't get out so I had to sit down to one of the empty coaches. In a minute an older guy came to me and said that one drink costs ~10$ if I want one. I said ok, ordered a gin, pretty much paralyzed because some shitty Jazz music was in background. After that the other 3 (one woman , 2 dudes) walked to the stage(very small thou), one guy grab one double bass another sit in front of a keyboard, woman took the mic. Later they play 3-4 Jazz songs live just for me and they asked me to request a song. I request one Charlie Parker, ofc they played. They played fucking good btw, not just some shitty musicians. They are like music students from some college or so. It took me while to return to my body after this. After they gather around me to chat a little with their shitty English, far worse than their Jazz. It was pretty late though, around 2:00 am, so I had to leave. I searched for this place another day but failed to find it.
This is the story of my best 10 bucks.

My friend put the down payment on his house and paid for his college when he started one of those Diablo 2 shops online. He made a mini fortune quickly, so it's not like we couldn't do that before. huk huk huk

1.) a cheap /fake nike's been using it for running for 5 years now. lol

The best 60 Euro is indeed SC2. It is by a large margin the single "cheap" thing I have ever bought that has brought me the most fun. Maybe it is a little pathetic, but it is certainly true.
The best $500 I have ever spent is my bike. I have it already more then 11 years and it has always been a big part of my life. The freedom of movement provided by is difficult to match even with a car - and for the most of these 11 years, I had neither a license nor money to get a car, so the bike meant really the world to me.

1) Fallen chief mid skate shoes ~$60 last 4yrs ago-present.(still in good condition) 2)PSP1000 bought 2nd hand at $40 from a friend.(still using it at this moment) 3)GW2 account I bought by selling my 8yr old free MMO account. 4)Personal Vaporizer

1) The best amount below 15 € / 20 USD you've ever spent. Captain Nemo's Submarine Sandwich (Nautilus) 2) The best two digit amount you've ever spent. Dinner for my ex because she is allergic to honey and the carrots had a honey glaze/sauce. 3) The best three digit amount you've ever spent. Probably the baitcaster rod/reel combo I bought to go fishing with. Spincasters tire me out when casting all day and aren't as accurate. As a uni student I love to just get out there and relax - and eat fresh fish at the end of it.

Was 112 degrees last week, I saw a small snow cone shop on the side of the road, FUCKING AMAZING, best $4 spent in recent memory, nothing like telling mother nature to go fuck herself with a brainfreeze.

small purchase - A sprinkles cupcake. Dat orgasm in your mouth.
medium purchase - my laptop, ASUS is a great company
Large purchase - my bed...the often overlooked essential that you should never go cheap on. You spend about a third of your life in bed, better get the best one you can afford. It's amazing sleep.
