It is hard to tell, but my bet is on him winning. But it all going to come down to what candidates they get for each set they want to fight over. And if they can craft an appealing party message. As the war between government forces and Russian-backed rebels continues in eastern Ukraine, a peace plan purportedly crafted by two associates of President Trump and a member of Ukraine’s parliament is causing an increasing backlash.
Ukrainian Prosecutor-General Yuriy Lutsenko said Tuesday that an investigation would be opened against lawmaker Andrei Artemenko on possible treason charges.
The New York Times reported Tuesday that Artemenko was suspected of conspiring with Russian officials to commit “subversive acts against Ukraine,” including pushing his proposal for a deal that would “legitimize the temporary occupation” of the Crimean peninsula.
Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 by force, soon after Ukraine’s Russia-friendly president fled the country in the wake of massive street protests. The U.S. and its allies in Europe have refused to recognize the Russian annexation, and have levied harsh sanctions against Russia in response.
President Vladimir Putin’s seizure of part of a neighboring country also prompted NATO to deploy military hardware and thousands more troops -- including about 4,000 U.S. service members -- to countries on the edge of Moscow’s sphere of political influence in eastern Europe.
According to the Times, Artemenko flew into New York in January and met privately with Mr. Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen and a Russian-American man named Felix Sater. Sater, said the Times, was a business partner of Mr. Trump’s who was tasked as recently as 2015 with scouting business opportunities for Mr. Trump in Russia.
The Times reported that Artemenko crafted his plan, which calls for Ukrainians to vote on whether to lease Crimea to Russia for either 50 or 100 years, with Cohen and Slater, but the Trump associates’ role in the proposal is unconfirmed; other reports suggest the Ukrainian was essentially pitching the plan to the men in New York.

That would be dangerously close to treason in the US too. Any time a politician is trying to cut deals with other world governments and not being super open about it, it is close to treason.

News flash: just because they come from some country to the south of you doesn't make them Mexican, or related to Mexicans, or even having entered the country through Mexico (in fact, insofar as I know the statistics, most fly in and overstay their tourist visa: no need to touch ground in Mexico for that).

While she’s still in the room (off-camera) at the White House press briefings, it appears that Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway has been benched from what she’s best known for, which is defending Donald Trump on TV. CNN Money reported on Wednesday that Conway will not be making TV appearances for a while after she strayed from the administration’s official position in interviews about the resignation of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. Specifically, she had said Flynn had Trump’s “full confidence” a few hours before his resignation, and then, the following day, said Flynn had offered up the resignation. That was contrary to White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer saying that Trump asked him to resign.
One White House source told CNN that she went “off-message,” with another adding that “Clearly they’re having much more of a drama-free week,” so “Having Kellyanne off television is helping them.” This came on the heels of her getting in hot water over encouraging Americans to buy Ivanka Trump’s clothing line in a Fox News Channel appearance.

Update: NBC’s Hallie Jackson got a comment from Conway, who says this isn’t true, with a TV appearance potentially coming as soon as tonight. Conway then reached out to CNN’s Dylan Byers, who reported the initial story, to say that she will be on Fox News tonight. He stands by the story since “she hasn’t been on TV for over a week,” and pointed out that it’s now become routine for the White House to not comment until a story is published so they can “do something to imply it’s not true.”

Every non fox station should just ban her. Almost nothing she says is true. It's a complete waste of time and serves to spread more alternate facts. I know a few already have but they all need to.
