I just read the comments of this on Al Jazeera and as much as I love the site, the readers are horrible and so obsessed with conspiracy theories.

I for one believe he lived a full life, experiencing what no man had experienced before. Truly a legend who will be remembered for all of history for his great accomplishments.

It almost offends me how so many people have said nothing except for this. It shows a lack of interest or care. If you have nothing to say other than RIP then don't bother posting at all. If you truly care, then express your feelings and type what you feel. I for one believe he lived a full life, experiencing what no man had experienced before. Post your feelings of Neil not of crying over meaningless crap... I think saying RIP is a lot better then complaining about it

Usually people find it hard to find words when it comes to death and there's ceremonial aspect to it. Although three letters is really short, they could at least add dots. A pioneer who truly went where no man had gone before. I hope the next Neil Armtrong is alive today.

Truly a legend who will be remembered for all of history for his great accomplishments. So you are writing down your feelings here, if only to show that you care? That's pretty messed up. I don't think it's honest and genuine if you go around posting feelings on forums because you have keep up a reputation of being a caring person. Learn to deal with the fact that everyone likes to show their respects in their own way. It doesn't matter how, because it's personal. I would advise you to stop judging people this way, because you simply don't know what goes on inside. The way someone deals with death is largely done on the inside, not externally. So it's sort of wrong to judge someone by your standards.

really awesome how we are able to dream of the possibilities of living on the moon one day, because of that one small giant step.

Guys really don't read before posting. Sad but true. I wonder if we'll ever have another purge.

Dying shouldn't be a problem for Neil though. He's been halfway to heaven before.
