My friend who moved in with me bought one from bestbuy (i think) when he got back. 32 gig version nexus 10

I've got a Nexus 4 (had a s2 before) and its is extremely slick, Very responsive and the overall feel is brilliant. It was sold out for me too for a week or two and i managed to get it on 4-5 weeks pre-order.
I am on my nexus 4 right now and I have to say it is an amazing experience. Everything runs very smooth and I have not had any issues with applications force closing or freezing like I had in previous versions of android.
The only reason I haven't bought a Nexus 4 is because of no removable storage (16 gb is just not enough for me). I've played with one and it runs so smooth, 4.2 android is amazing. I'd much rather get the Sony Xperia Z when it comes out for this reason.

Same with the Nexus 4. The only place I've seen it available at is Amazon, but it's not even an official vendor, just some asshole who bought a bunch and is reselling them for $500...
My brother has been waiting for it to restock at Google's website for a while now. Makes me wonder if they ever made a new batch, haha.
got my 10 first day, actually ordered 2 due to all the lag processing the order. probably should've kept the 2nd to sell it, but i cancelled the order.
love it, only hate i have is that it is absolutely a horror to get any accessories in canada, i dont think any major retailers even sell any accessories for it. i had to go buy online and even then its not much of a selection. that is where ipad definitely has a big edge over any android tablet i think.
they really should just let people order again on the website and not just keep listing it as sold out and just let people know that they'll have to wait a long time.
I was seriously considering upgrading from my S2 to a Nexus 4 but missed out on purchasing one. With how long it has taken and probably will continue to take (the production increase by mid-February is nice but they still will be busy dealing with all the old orders from December), I'm strongly considering just waiting for the Nexus 5.
Have you called around local electronic stores? That's what my friend did. Got back from Germany and the next day he called an electronic store and they had 16 and 32 gig versions of the nexus 10. Multiple of each as well.
I have a Nexus 7 and it is awesome. I've been messing around with overclocking the damn thing and screwed up its software for a few times now . The nexus 7 is a beast for its price.
I just ordered a Nexus 10 for my gf. It was shipped out the same day so hopefully it will be here in a few days.
From what i remember there is something on the nexus 4 part of reddit where someone made a script from chrome that checks the website and will put the phone into your basket if it becomes available. I was just lucky when i ordered mine.
Nexus 4 is pretty incredible. Everything runs super smooth, build quality is great and Google now surprises me every so often which is a nice treat.
Only faults i have with it is the glass back is super scary, looks nice but boy does it slide about. And the camera isn't very good. But for the price you pay i don't think there's a better android phone on the market.

Sold my S2 for £155 and bought the nexus 4 16gb for 125 more. Best decision ever, its amazing (and i really liked the s2)
When my contract ends I will probably just pay as you go until the nexus 5, or wait longer til something that I cant resist having comes to market.

The nexus 5 will have slightly better specs but remember the Nexus range is done by screen size. Nexus 5 will be the 5 inch screen range Nexus product. Not the "next" Nexus 4 like the Nexus 7 is 7" and the Nexus 10 is 10". It will be similar to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Note 2.

I didn't quite mean a Nexus with a 5 inch screen, but simply their next Nexus phone. Their naming strategy has been a bit random with the Nexus line, going from Nexus One to Nexus S to Galaxy Nexus to Nexus 4. Who knows what their next one will be.

Nexus 4 owner here. Ordered mine really late on the 6th december or so (the second 'launch') from the german Playstore. I got extremely lucky with the delivery (ordered 1 hour after the launch, received in on the 17th of dec.). The phone is simply amazing, feels solid in the hand, as the guy above me mentioned - extremely responsive. The only 'lag' ive ever had was in some specific apps that feel like they are simply badly written. Everything else is just great I can only recommend it, its the best Android phone out there right now (in MY opinion). Google derping with the sales is sad though, thats the only downside :/
Edit: Oh just wanted to add this too: the display - cant find words to describe it. Amoled what? It blows their oversaturated colors out of the water. And the materials used feel really nice too. I've given the N4 to some friends that wanted to see it and they liked it a lot. One thing I hate about (most) Android smartphones is the cheapish plastic look
