Tilapia Sandwich that I've been eating all week
2 slices large Tuscan Bread Lightly butter outsides of slices and panini press them until golden brown, 1 breaded parmesean encrusted tilapia fillet, baked about 4 minutes at 450* then deep fried until just crispy 1/6 garlic butter mixed with 5/6 mayo and dash of lemon juice (or cliantro-lime mayo) 2 slices provolone cheese romaine lettuce (or spinach) julienned red onion roma tomato slices (or bruschetta)
Also, Quiznos > Subway. I like the $4 "Torpedos"

Shooter sandwich never had a full one. I'm not manly enough, but my bro makes these sandwiches and similar badboys.
really pushing the boundaries of what a sandwich can achieve.

Sandwiches are just awesome fullstop. Subway's great, but I'm not the type to really pick and choose too much outside of meat preference. Hallopinos, pickles and tomatoes can sometimes be too overpowering with certain meats - so they might not make the cut, but generally all salad is nice. I do dislike those sort of stereotypical American sandwiches, 5 types of meat with 2 types of cheese, a fried egg, tomato sauce, fried and no salad? That's just disgusting imo.

I think you should poll all the toppings (yes/no) and then poll best cheese and best bread. Ezpz and you will come up with best possible sub.

The city which I live in currently has no subway T_T Good archive of combinations for me to try out when I go visit KL again.

This sounds amazing...!
Seems like a ridiculous cooking time though just for a sandwich. Sure its restaurant quality, but still O.o

I feel like if you eat too fast, you could get a bad case of indigestion (thats a lot of compact food + not hot) Me thinks its worthy of EpicMealTime

Any bread (I usually pick wheat).
Get chicken breast and some of the marinara sauce from the meatballs on it. Pepper jack cheese. Don't toast... yet.
Get mayo/mustard if you like them. Get bell peppers, onions, jalapenos, bell peppers. Now toast.
After toasting get some lettuce on it, tomatoes if you like them. I usually skip salt and pepper, but the guy who told me about this used to get them on it, too.
It's called the "Hitwhich", and it's delicioius.

absolutely worth it.

This is... life changing.
I didn't know such a thing was possible; truly an inspiration.
Now for Andy's Hot Ham Sammich. You will need: 2 pieces of whole wheat bread 2 slices of swiss cheese 6-8 thin slices of deli smoked ham Butter, Lawry's Seasoned Salt
Butter one side of a piece of bread, drop butter-side down in a skillet on medium heat. As this browns, add the swiss and then the ham (I shred/wad/scrunch my ham to give some thickness/texture to it), sprinkle some Lawry's on top, and then add the second piece of bread (butter side up). By this time the bottom should be browned, so flip er over and continue until toasted to perfection. This is great with a can of vegetable soup, bachelor comfort food.
Also, if you make this sammich for a chick after 2am, after more than a few drinks you will get laid.

Wow...just wow. For some reason I never thought about making a grilled cheese with meat. You changed my life!

I will eat any celiac friendly sandwich... Celiac disease is like being allergic to chairs. You could sit in benches & stuff but you always notice it when all there is is chairs everywhere- because why wouldn't you use a chair? Benches are hard to make and big. And when you go to a seminar or something and go get a bean bag everyone thinks you're nuts (in-n-out, order a 3x3 protein style, implied DIET style, with animal fries, unhealthy health food so I look like a troll)
I miss few things like I miss sandwiches. But places like in-n-out and stuff are great, I just hope these places find out about gluten free bread that is useable- especially subway where I cheat to get a Swiss meatball marinara with everything on it toasted Italian cheese bread so that the lowest percentage of wheat per mass even though I'm cheating like to make my gut bleed... If they would just use Udi's or something and charge like $3 extra... But it's nice to make my own at home now & then, usually ham or pastrami related cold sandwiches but a rare treat, hard to get the good bread that's not all crumbly.

I can't believe how awesome that is!
