What's me? It's my fault people can't debate a point? It's my fault people would rather debate their assumptions, ridiculous extrapolations and implications, instead than what I wrote? Am I incapable of forming sentences? Clearly not. Ok, sure... It's my fault for bothering to argue with idiots in the first place.
Me: "Whining is the best metric for balance". Poster 1: "We aren't whiners!" Poster 2: "OMG ban this guy he is calling us whiners" Poster 3: "Whining is the only metric for balance? STFU nub" Me: "I didn't call you whiners. I said it's the best metric. I also didn't say it's the only one". Poster 1: "People who care about balance aren't just whiners. Some people are constructive." Poster 2: "You obviously know nothing about game balance if you think whining is the worst metric." Poster 3: "I never whine" Me:" Look, don't bother replying if you're not going to read my post. How many times do I have to explain this shit to you?" Poster 1: "OH MAN HES CURSING AT US NOW" MOD BAN: "Your posts are utter, useless trash. Enough trolling GTFO"

You know what really grinds my gears?
When, in ZvP Zerg scouts a forge FE and decides to take a quick 3rd base, the less-informed commentators will go crazy about Zerg's decision to take a 3rd so fast and they make it out to be some super unorthodox risky decision.
People, the fast 3rd is standard now. Nestea does it. Losira does it. IdrA does it. Get with the program!

It really annoys me when people write a long story without things like points and capital letters but do use abbreviations like: ppl instead of people and sk8er instead of skater. It makes a text look like the ramblings of somebody who isn't very smart. (To put it kindly.)
I'm not saying I never do it but especially with a longer story it just makes it so much more readable.
Edit: The two guys above me are a nice example of how you make a nice and readable post.

The fact that people are too lazy to do their own research so they listen to everything the media throws at them and don't think for themselves.

1. Marine+SCV bunker all-ins > (Sorry, had to say it)
2. People who can't bother typing in one or two more letters on their keyboards: "O hi wut u doin?" Like seriously? If you can't bother typing in a couple of letters, go get dragonfly or whatever tech that writes out what you say.
3. 2 gate zealot rushes. You might be able to hold it off, but at what cost? The toss is already ahead.
4. The new surround AI bothers me. If, let's say Terran, drops marines in the middle of my mineral line, and scoots back into the crevice between patches, lings will not bother going around, they will force themselves through that small chokepoint.
5. Our stupid American measuring system. It's ridiculous, no further comment.
6. Speedling all-ins, along with baneling all-ins (have you ever watched a bajillion banelings exploding your main hatch barely at the end of the early game?)

Political Correctness. Nuff said

People who say 'nuff said.' No offence intended to the chap above me it just reminded me of how much this actually does grind my gears.
If anything, it should be 'nough said! Rawr!

I'd punch those Terrans that float to the island and turtle and just BM for 30 minutes and then say shit before I leave in the face if I ever saw one IRL. I can't stand retards that stay in a game and lengthen it because they can't GG out.

-People who look down on others that have different tastes/opinions/beliefs. -Driving grinds my gears in general. Well except when nobody else is on the road. -Being rear ended while stopped at a red light and having the guy who did it come cuss me out while still on the phone with whoever. Uh yea dude. Eat a bag of dicks. (kinda goes w/ what I quoted) -McDonalds not having Powerade. -Buying records at yard sales, you know like 5 bucks for the entire stack 'cause they just want it gone. Only going home to find that 90% of them are warped. -Sheetz billboards. They show the fat dude with a shit eating grin on his face basically saying "Look 'merica it's OK to be fat, come stuff your face at Sheetz!" -Movie culture today. Too many sequels, prequels and remakes. Too many movies explain everything for you as if you were an idiot without an imagination. Basically catering to the lowest common denominator to make the most sales. -Derivative, unoriginal music. Current dubstep is a perfect example because the subgenre is so strictly defined that it limits creativity making everything coming out sound dull, try hard, predictable and boring. There are a few metal subgenres that fall for this too. You can pretty much predict what the songs will do while listening to them the first time. -Bands that pick like one album or a few songs from one album and make an entire demo or album of rip-off songs from it. Apply your own creativity to them, provided you have some. -Guitards and bassists that overplay. -Blind faith.
