Not really. They are tipping it to Obama.

THAT is surprising. For Fox, I'd expect more "Insult Romney over Obama" than "Give Obama any sort of nod"

Fox isn't as biased as advertised. Their Special Report team that handles these debates is the best in the business.

Also, up is down, black is white, and bacon is good for you.

No, he's right. Fox isn't biased 100% of the time, and they do have a few good analysts. Plus, I think anyone who's worked in politics knows this went slightly to Obama.

Lol, that's your defense? "Fox isn't biased 100% of the time"?

I think his logic is that if you dont count the hosts of almost every show they have than the actual reporting isnt biased which is true but usually after the report you have a couple minutes of host explaining what we just heard (which is biased).

Depends on the group. I don't watch FOX much, i prefer CNN (I like getting my news from slightly left of center). Fox has a number of very biased hosts. But not all of them are hyper-spinners.

I don't generally watch the news, and I do get most of my TV news from the Daily Show. I do think the Daily Show is liberal, but I also don't think it spins that much. I get most of my paper news from Reuters and NYTimes.

That being said - people like Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity have cemented my view of Fox News. I really dislike them.

Also dislike that shorthaired brunette lady who does the opposite for the liberal news. Forgot her name.

Daily Show spins. It's still funny, but they definitely spin.

I won't disagree with your view - I think Stewart spins it in a way that I agree with, and also delivers in such a way that I don't feel he spins. However, I much prefer him over the Glenn Becks/Sean Hannitys. And even Bill O'Reilly - I really disliked him in the past, but now am more fond of him - especially after the mock debate where I got to be more aware of his values.

Unfortunately, because I don't have TV in my room, I don't watch too much MSNBC or CNN.

Well considering Obama wasn't a zombie this time he certainly gained some ground.

Obama won in zingers (though I actually felt there weren't that many overall), but that part in the middle by Romney ripping into the last 4 years was to me the most potent part. Also, does anyone know who talked more? I heard somewhere that it was once again Obama by 4 minutes. These moderators need to be fair and consistent. Some of those cut-offs were ridiculous.

I am conservative, however.

I agree. He's far more enjoyable to watch (as is Colbert). But Stewart spins like crazy. I find Colbert to be more balanced than stewart. He does that liberal pretending to be a conservative thing, and I think it makes fun of both at the same time.

I missed the debate, but according to my facebook status updates, Obama just took a huge dump on Romney? Even taking into account my age demographic of ~23 is more likely to be liberal, it seems a little overwhelming.

lol @ people saying only Fox's opinion shows are biased. The rest is also biased (maybe Shep Smith is the exception), even if it's only rarely overt. After this debate, Fox went straight into damage control on Libya, then kicked it to Greta who interviewed the RNC Chairman LOL.

In a sick way, Romney flubbing the Libya thing may help him long term, because everyone is talking about Libya now. The problem is that what Obama said at the debate and implied simply isn't true.

If you're going to say FOX has a number of biased hosts (which is true), you might as well say CNN does too. Let's not pretend otherwise.

no, I have no idea why I was in that hell of a thread.

I sometimes can't stand Colbert - but only because his mockery can be REALLY drawn out sometimes. I also prefer Stewart's guests/interviews over Colbert's.

I do agree - but usually I am very aware of the quotes being taken out of context, so I don't mind so much. I think he's gotten more and more unhappy with the political field right now, and that's why he's crusading more. I remember him 5-6 years ago and he was a lot less invested.

I am conservative, however.

CNN was keeping track of the talking time... I forget what the difference was but Obama had talked for more.

obama was up by 3:10ish I think. Not to much at around 40 minutes but he has been getting more time in every debate by a fair margin.
A wise man will say that he knows nothing. We're gona party like its 2752 Hail Dark Brandon

I missed the debate, but according to my facebook status updates, Obama just took a huge dump on Romney? Even taking into account my age demographic of ~23 is more likely to be liberal, it seems a little overwhelming.

How could you not expect facebook to be overwhelming? You kidding? It's facebook.

FOX calling it a draw?

If you're going to FOX has a number of biased hosts (which is true), you might as well say CNN does too. Let's not pretend otherwise.

I think CNN does a better job of balancing them though. Only one I truly can't stand is Cafferty.
