And if tax returns being asked of a nominee has been the norm since 88.
Is it really that personal? Have you ever had a job? For most jobs you have to present your social security/birth certificate/passport. I would be kind of interested to see what their passports look like. Don't you think it would be interesting to ask them what they were doing out of the country during some time? What if we elected a president that has never been out of the country? Doesn't that make you worry some? What if the president lied about going to school, having a family, and having a successful job?

I do have a job. They didn't ask for those.
Re: "what if the president lied about going to school, having a family, and having a successful job?" Er - what if the president lied about his taxes?

Do you really think somebody could run for the Presidency without a full background check, including inspecting the birth certificate?

The more important and somewhat scary question for this election is whether you think someone could succesfully run for the presidency without paying any taxes for a decade? I am not saying this is truth but whether it is possible.

Paul Ryan's budget, if implemented, would hasten the self destruction of the republican party. As they would alienate the most reliable of voters. Senior citizen's. Who are already aware of his plans for Medicare, last year he couldn't do any town halls due to be called out by said citizens.

I don't personally think he didn't pay taxes. I think he's more afraid that his tax returns will show some absurdly low, yet legal, numbers that would really turn the middle class against him.
Especially if you get a good media spin on it.

People want to try to feel like they're close to his level, but to be honest, I strongly believe he's way over all of our heads. :\

He may be onto something here. It's all starting to make sense.

O_O
And by the way, I've had jobs too and they never asked for birth certificate. The most personal thing they asked for was my SSN for paychecks/taxes.
And, by the way, Obama never "hid" his birth certificate. When you run for the presidency you have to show proof that you qualify to be a candidate, one of which is given in the form of a birth certificate. Even then, Obama did produce his birth certificate for the public after like what? A month? Revealing tax forms has been more common in the past than revealing birth certificates btw.

I don't think you have any idea how he gets his low tax rate.
I mean, things like deducting horse expenses.
And a car elevator garage.
And a multimillion dollar house.

That Andrea Saul thing really disgusts me. It's such a solid point, and it's so positive toward Romney. But it doesn't matter, because it actually might give voters a more correct view of one of Romney's greatest compromises in Massachusetts.
That's the kind of thing that makes me hate politics. The republican party is a party of nonsense.

What is your point about this?
