Also on the hunt for a gloverall duffle coat for a decent price. Interested to see Lemaire's Trench they did with Uniqlo too, if anyone here picks it up

I buy women's stuff often, it's not really weird or anything as long as you know what you're picking. Women's fashion is just a lot of adventurous and creative imo compared to men's.

I even notice women's clothing when I go into stores these days. I'm a little concerned but I have a hard time feeling it's neccesarily a bad thing.

in general it's easier for women to fit into men's clothing as adding masculine elements in a woman's outfit has the paradoxical effect of enhancing her femininity, whereas a man in stylistically feminine clothing only serves as an emasculating effect

But the whole emasculating idea, I dunno. People used to think skinny or slim fit was emasculating, similar with slim fit shirts and jackets. Broad shoulders (padded suits) and straight cuts were commonly associated with the shape of a man. Yet times changed. I dunno if we will ever move to accept what you would call emasculating as acceptable, but I don't really see why not aside from societal norms which change over time. I don't think there's anything intrinsic in women's wear that makes it impossible for men to wear it without judgment, it's really just norms.

That's because men won't conform to that typical shape very often, if at all. If you're super skinny maybe you can get away with a loose shirt or popover. Otherwise it's really just sweaters coats and jackets. I feel like men's fashion is ready for culottes though but maybe that's just wishful thinking. But the whole emasculating idea, I dunno. I'm assuming you're talking about the dior show but that changed the overall shape and style of menswear more than it changed the perception of masculinity of slimmer clothing.

![]() ![]() ![]() It looks pretty damn awesome in person (way cooler than the pics actually), and was made quite well. The leather is very soft and the inner phone pocket(s) fit my galaxy mega like a glove. Sadly the arms and chest are a bit tight (I am 6'2 250lbs, do a lot of lifting and such), and it is too much of a hassle and costly to return (custom make and all) so I will just have to deal with the slight discomfort. I'm planning on dropping 30lbs by next year, so it will hopefully fit a lot better then. Right now, being so tight, it looks more like an x-men suit than a riding jacket, but I guess that's not too bad of a thing. I think I'll use it for a costume this Halloween along with some matching pants (relatively speaking), ninja knives, and headband (still brainstorming obviously.. lol)
