![]() coated drkshdw memphis pants. these have a LOT of stretch, usually i wear a normal size 28-29 but for these (i bought a size 29 to be safe) i have to wear a belt. a size 28 would have been perfect for me but i guess in case i get fat it'll be perfect. 2 different panels of material on these. the coated parts are treated with the "black mineral" treatment from rick owens. it feels like a very rough wax layer. the non coated part is a strechy (polyester? nylon? forgot) material in the calf area. the pants are thick overall, but not too thick. pockets are deep enough to hold a passport and a sandwich. B) as with most rick owens clothing, these would probably look even better if i worked out. all in all i'm glad i got it for ~600usd brand new. (ink marks down stuff if you ask, cool dudes in hk) tl;dr i don't think i'll be selling these anytime soon.

No need to mindlessly insult about how he hasn't have half a brain and being ignorant or whatever. The point of this thread is to discuss fashion as a whole. I have no qualms if you think my shoes are ugly, but if you're going to start your argument with "I don't understand some of these "fashions"" and expect your point to be taken seriously then you're in the wrong place to post. It's hardly an insult when the truth of the matter is that he decided to post for zero reason and contribute nothing to the discussion while shitposting. tl;dr: you can claim something is ugly but if you're contributing nothing to the actual discussion about anything other than your uninformed opinions then you can just get out of the thread. ![]() ![]() on a more design pov on raf simons velcros: the low velcros are poorly designed in the toebox area. the area where the large toe creases actually get pressed down by the round metal curves (velcro caps? not sure what they're called) and can cause blisters on the foot. the high velcros have the caps higher on the foot region, allowing your foot to crease naturally. i like the aesthetic of the lows but like overall they're hella uncomfy. maybe they require breaking in? maybe my toes are too long?

I'd just like to reiterate that gilt and myhabit and yoox have some of the worst modeling I've ever seen lmao this thread may be a bit of a circlejerk because the predominant posters here are also part of several other communities that also groupthink quite a lot, hence our thoughts and interests are very much aligned. on the other hand, it doesn't really mean that we cannot accept anything else that has no synergy with what we normally discuss. posting an outfit you want critiqued is great but it's important to understand that not everyone's style is alike. if you're giving critique on something as personal as a subject like fashion, you have to have an open mind. eg, don't tunnelvision on the criticism of the style and ignore the way clothing comes together as a whole. at this point, you're failing to see the forest for the tree. I mean, yea the shoes may be ugly and I've actually only seen one, single mildly decent fit with them, but that doesn't invalidate the direction the designer was going for. the rafs velcro lows are poorly executed because the first strap is too far down the vamp, whereas it's fine with the highs because the instep is much higher. you may want to try sizing down (?) and see if that fixes the problem. reason why I say size down is because the crease from your toe is farther down the toebox, and the fastener on the shoe is farther up your foot. actually now that I think about it idk if that's even correct. I definitely know that sizing up is not the answer. recently I've been tempted to get the converse x mmm painted sneakers but paying 2+ bills for converses makes my brain cells want to commit suicide. been looking for some good low sneakers but the low scamosciatos look kind of odd and achilles don't really fit into what I want atm. wtb suggestions - no gats or cp or nb pls I'm on the lookout for a pair of rafstros for a decent price as well

+ Show Spoiler + Not sure what you're going for but here are some Y-3s, I don't like contrasting stuff on sneakers though. And the Y-3 logos are very prominent: Honja low 2 + Show Spoiler + ![]() boxing: + Show Spoiler + ![]() otherwise I really like fk chukkas, not sure how the silhouette is in person though, lots of cool colorways. + Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]() also lmao at these visvim zipper sneakers: + Show Spoiler + ![]()

I definitely know that sizing up is not the answer. it's kind of odd because i'm a size 41 in high velcros but my feet are too small for 41 in the lows? so i had to take a 42 so my toes wouldn't be bunched up like they did in 41s. fucking sucks but my highs were MIT and the lows were MIP, so i'm not sure if there's an actual product quality difference in the way the shoes were made that is so different that causes my toe to be snubbed like that on the lows. i'll wear my lows around for a bit i guess, i also loosened the lower strap on it to see if there's any difference.

icaruses are super cool but i'm really looking for lows and not really a fan of the patterns kva puts on the current season lows On July 18 2014 08:11 Pulselol wrote: it's kind of odd because i'm a size 41 in high velcros but my feet are too small for 41 in the lows? so i had to take a 42 so my toes wouldn't be bunched up like they did in 41s. fucking sucks but my highs were MIT and the lows were MIP, so i'm not sure if there's an actual product quality difference in the way the shoes were made that is so different that causes my toe to be snubbed like that on the lows. i'll wear my lows around for a bit i guess, i also loosened the lower strap on it to see if there's any difference. usually i size down 1 in boots so I guess this kinda applies in a retarded way

gonna cop the kangaroo virgils, too lazy to look for the right schneider aesthetic trousers so just gonna get another pair of jeans and wear that + virgils for the whole winter. Would wait for vibergs but idk when they're gonna drop and in what style. The uniqlo leggings are like the best fitting slim/skinny pants I've ever tried on, I like the fit even more than the acne aces and at like 1/10 the price, they're by far the best option for skinny black/grey jeans. So some concept questions, I'm trying to follow this aesthetic with relaxed but not loose trousers/jeans, and tops which are wide in the shoulders but falls slim. I'm thinking uniqlo trousers could potentially work but I don't want any pleated stuff. I'm also having trouble finding relaxed tapered jeans, only one I found that's close is the universal works denim which isn't sold in the US and the gbp conversion rate kills. Gonna try only wearing navy/black/grey/dark green. And yes I realize virgils is whole different look.
