If you're only gonna wear it a couple of times and/or without matching trousers just get a basic $70 H&M blazer imo, if you need an entire suit it may take a while for you to get sizing right especially if you're ordering online, best to go to a BB store and ask for free measurements first.
I can measure myself or just get one of my coworkers to measure me at work lol. I was planning on wearing it fairly often for class. definitely don't NEED a full suit but I've been wanting one for a while. I'm definitely gonna hold off on it for a while so I can do some real real research and get something I really want. I guess I'll revisit H&M and Nordstrom Rack to find a blazer that'll fit my needs rather than waste any money unnecessarily for now.

Measuring yourself for a suit without experience isn't very accurate. Measuring a suit that fits you well is slightly more accurate. Better to go to a store and try on suits and find out their sizes/measurements.

Check it out, banana republic has raf dip dyes:

i fucking missed out on the ssense sale bljdsklajf;aw
and i am pretty sure geller was doing dip dyes since 2010 way before raf did em but whatever point is nothing is sacred

I've been checking it since it went up weeks ago and the only thing I've been tempted by is a black white mountaineering backpack.
|
there were julius jackets, ann d sneakers, and some ro lowtop captoes I liked all out of my size now

the raf meme sweater was half price today but after shipping it would've came to the same amount i already paid for

Thoughts on whether this is worth getting fixed or should I just return them and start with a slimmer fit?
+ Show Spoiler +
I think the neck is good, shoulders are a tad big, fit is a bit boxy and sleeves are horrendous on me. Oh yeah, definitely too long as well. Awkward arms cause I was trying to show the extent of the billowing sleeves.
Edit: No idea why the picture got rotated, it isn't if you click the link and it wasn't when I took it lol.

Has anyone used those online suite stores they have now, like indochine or i forget the other names but basically you send in your measurements to them and they send you a tailored suite? pros/cons?

If the shoulders don't fit, return.
The only shirts worth tailoring already fit your shoulders

okay so i have a question about socks... i never really understood the stylistic purpose of the sock... is it an extension of the shoe color or of the pant color or is it its own thing? i've seen all three and i never know what color socks to wear
|
Traditional socks match the color other pants to keep a clean line and make you look taller. Patterned socks are to look cool. You dont really want to match the color of your shoes ever. It doesn't look great on most guys.

Please weep for me, had to sell my PBJs cuz I started lifting lower body and my thighs got too big. My everyday pants are the $30 uniqlo leggings now.

Just quit lifting like I do every 3 months.

his outerwear is always well done that double layer half trench thing is really interesting
i could do without the cropped trousers/capri things though

Everything I've read says indochine is garbage and suitsupply is 100x better. But like I've said before, you really need to get your measurements right first before buying anything.
So I've realized that jeans and raw denim are actually not that versatile, and with Schneider for example, relaxed trousers would go with a lot more of his tops. In fact I can't think of raw faded denim going with anything but a workwear look with rugged workshirts or peacoats and the likes.
