What do you call a coat like this? I've been looking for one for ages, but since I don't even know the English name, yet alone the German one, it turned out to be a fool's errand (errant?) so far.

Also, can anyone recommend a good winter coat? I'm in the coldest part of Korea and they say things get pretty damn cold here so I need to prepare a little. I don't really know much about materials (wool/goose feathers for winter?) so uhh...any help is appreciated. | ||
