In my I cannot stress how hard door to door sales people is but this guy Kenny Brooks has amazing charisma and attitude and deserves to go onto bigger and better things. Recently the internet community is trying to gather support for him to land a spot on the popular tv show Last Comic Standing. Show some support for him if you think he is funny =) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHHV39-o8eQ That pitch was awesome. I could tell that he was really enthusiastic and loving every part of his job. I mean, he just has this charisma about him.

It looks very American...kind of like when they have those 'snake oil' salesmen in western movies talking a mile a minute xD. In my sales jobs they have always emphasised listening to the customer...giving them time to talk...approaching using features and benefits to explain why the product is good for the customer and how they could use it. But surely this guy is a great talker and should move up in the world definitely! There's hundred ways of doing it, I know a guy that sells best when people initially say no, he has some insane routine for that. I've been selling myself and it's hard, I do what you mentioned but it's nowhere close to what this guy does. Because people don't really buy from you if they don't like you, anyone can just make a phonecall and order the same shit that you sell. But once you manage to start a conversation and establish some kind of positive attitude, you're 2/3 of the way through, even if they don't really need the shit you sell.

But the thing is, i got every single one of his references. While numerous they were very general, and there weren't that many tv references. Like he mentioned about some of the neighbors, i'd buy from him solely for presentation.

Things such as the repeated high-five, engaging the customer into the routine and forming a tactile bond, which is subliminally stronger than most people think. Also he didn't waste a second trying to get as much merchandise and product information into the customers hand by the end of the pitch, as its much harder to refuse the offer when your already holding all of the product in your possession. List could go on, but aside from the humor that was quite impressive.

Some more information about them at: http://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/m91nc/now_this_is_a_door_to_door_salesman_i_would_buy/ Funny, nonetheless. They are very smart. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1673957/the_advanage_wonder_cleaner_scam_pg2.html?cat=46 Might want to take a look at these as well. http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/t-amp-b-sales-advanage-wonder-cleaner-avalon-georgia-c218358.html + Show Spoiler + Review of a former employee. Very eye-opening, especially with regards to those demonstrations he made during the video: Hi to all. My name is Jeffrey Foster and i worked for this company and for 4 years of my life, I left the company in 2007. I just want to say before I get started Im going to be 100% honest about the company and the product not disregarding things i did also. Ok first the product actually works on most things around the house. Also it is the same solution the salesman has in his bottle as the one you purchase, only thing diffrent is the salesman has a couple tricks up his/her sleave.(example) If you notice on the concrete demo they use a wire brush, u could spray water on the ground and a wire brush would do the same as using any product trust me i tried it, but the tell you to mix in a pressure washer(lie) on the brass threshhole they hide a piece of steel wool under a towel, which i was trained to do by numerous salesman which were called the hotshots. As far as the towel and marker demo its a cotton towel and we were instructed to dampen the towel so the marker comes off easier , (dont attempt to try on your clothes it doesnt work) (another lie). + Show Spoiler + In all honesty though, I might just buy it from him for $30 since it was funny.

Not this it make it any less funny, but this guy isn't going out of his way to do this, as this is done by all of their employees. Even so, he does a really good job of delivering the jokes, that other people couldn't do as well.

She bought a bottle... like most people I would already be shutting the door because most salesman are much more deceptive and awkward. An honest entertaining salesman is good in my books. I'd probably describe him more as being honest in his dishonesty. Fun to watch though, that guy will go far if given a break.
