My apologies. I guess I should have read back further. I get so angry with what goes on in China sometimes that I forget there are perfectly good places there as well. I'm still a kid so I get pretty emotional. Again, I apologize. This kind of tragedy could happen anywhere; we have to remember. There was security footage from somewhere here a few years back where a man was shot and people just skirted around him, letting him bleed to death. I believe it's a psychological effect but I can't remember the name of it. I think that, because this was a child, people (including myself!) are getting even MORE emotional about it. It's hard when something terrible happens to someone so young...

Yes it's in my nature to be outraged when someone innocent gets harmed - and seeing this, and then seeing it was in Guandong which has only ever server to incite that rage in the first place...if you know about some of my blog posts you know how I feel about cats and you know what happens to cats there; but I'll stop at that because I get blindly emotional about that topic...of course I got upset at first - but it's also been hammered into my nature to listen to people (when they're being reasonable of course). And you were being perfectly reasonable. Therefore, I listened. I think we have to just let out our frustration, anger, and sadness, then take a deep breath and realize that regardless of WHERE it occurred, this was a tragedy that could very well have been avoided and just hope that it never happens again. Though that's probably a little too much to hope for, huh...

A old woman rewarded and very well rewarded at that, for helping the girl, could set a revolutionary precedence, 06 set a bad one, this may set a good one. Let us hope for the best

Two things. One. The calm side of me. That is not what we are here to discuss. Please let us remain on topic. Even if this was the topic, carnivorous animals are not a good source of energy for food and are also not healthy. It's just not practical. Didn't you ever study biology? You get the most energy from plants. Herbivores eat the plants and use up some of that energy. Carnivores eat the herbivores and use up even more of that energy. You do not get the same nutritional value by eating a carnivore. Also, you do not know what disease-ridden other animals that carnivore may have eaten. Do you really want to take that risk? Another thing is that there are three kinds of domesticated animals the world over: Working, Companion, and Slaughter. Working animals are animals like horses, or police dogs. They help us do jobs. Companion animals are your typical house cat or dog or gerbil or even snake. They are part of the family and provide us love. Slaughter animals are animals like chickens, pigs, and cows. They provide us valuable food and should be treated with respect for this. (Also, no brand-name cat foods contain shark or rabbit meat.) Two. The emotional, enraged side of me. HOW DARE YOU SUGGEST SUCH A THING?!? USING CATS, THE CREATURES THAT ARE *MY CHILDREN* AS A FOOD SOURCE?! You disgust me...cats were never meant to be food; that is not how nature has ever worked!! You say they overpopulate the world, but that's only because people like you don't take responsibility for them!!! My coworkers and I try our best but we can't save all of them; people like you are the problem in this world and after suggesting such a thing I hope we never meet... Thank you for listening. Now back to the original topic. -places a flower for the suffering girl- I don't pray - I wasn't raised religious - but I do hope...

Nobody wants this to happen, but until the law system catches up we can only blame the people who commit this fraud in the first place.
