My condolences to all the families involved. Uuhm. Dude are you for real? "The wrong way to bring attention to these problems?" Are you SICK? "Hurt his cause?" WHAT?? Dude, could you please GET OUT of this thread? NOW? What's wrong with that post? It was most definitely the wrong way to bring attention to the problems (depending if you consider them to be so) that affect much of Europe these days. It's also true that his extreme actions have brought everyone together rather than worked in his favour, there's nothing particularly insensitive or objectionable in the post. You think there is nothing wrong to make a post in this thread agreeing with the suspects view on the "problems" there are in Europe? You don't think this is any problematic? I mean, sure. He made it WAAAY better pointing out that "acting this extreme" hurt his "cause". Because yeah, we would have LOOOOVED anything that would have been less extreme in order to help that "cause". Really? You think the 88 with those posts is a coincidence? Really?
You should probably calm down man. Take a deep breath.
This is a discussion forum after all and the thread is about the terrorist attack and as new information about the murderer and his motives comes to light it is only natural that that becomes part of the discussion as well.

Everyone acts so sanctimonious and holier then though in these situations. Guess what? 60 kids just died of malaria in sub saharan africa. Personally I feel nothing when I hear that people in a far off country died. Should I pretend to be upset? Should I express condolances I don't really feel? Why should I care about the death of these individuals, when I am apathetic to the 10,000 other people who died today?

Is anyone actually still reading the OP / the posts below?
Everything is still updated, yet the weird links keep coming.

Saddening to see this thread turning in to a debate over the right or wrong of the killers views, while I still see young people on tv2.no talking about the horrific things they have managed to survive,
Please, respect the dead and leave the debate to a proper time and place.

Agreed, hopefully mankind will eradicate ignorance completely at some point in the future, which is basically the root of everything going wrong on this world.

If you don't have anything useful to say, then don't.

If you don't care, don't post.

Yet CCow is right, EndofTimes88 (how fitting :/ ) just shows what's going to be the next line of the fear-mongering anti-immigrants/anti-muslim partisans. They will start with the necessary: "of course it is monstruous and of course he was wrong", then, they will introduce a dreadful "but" and start rambling -as always- about how he pointed real problems, bla, bla bla, the same hate speech that nurtured this killer.

NRK got some "expert" that saw a parallell between the events of Utøya and a post the killer made on a WoW forum saying what an "epic feeling it was to finally kill Nefarion".
Jesus Christ, how are these segments allowed to air?

I just read through some on the Manifesto and watched the video. The whole "educated" perspective.. so twisted but yet so well presented. Jesus christ, I dont know what to say
edit: and by that I mean I cant believe this individual acted as he did to draw attention to this very point

Jesus Christ, how are these segments allowed to air? Because the masses like it and think video games are the root of all evil.
In a decade or two this will be gone as every person in charge will have played video games.

I saw a "article" linking the killer to dragon age 2, nothing surprices me anymore.

This dude should have acid thrown in his face and his testicles smashed with a hammer and beaten so hard he would have to eat through a straw and use a wheelchair the rest of his life

Oh god... Those pdfs have full guides to make those explosives... 1800kg of ANFO

I wonder if there really are other people in this "organization" of his or if it's all just in his warped head.

Oh god, they started with the WoW thing >,> Assuming he did his deeds because of WoW is completely ludicrous, and theres no reason to assume so.
If playing WoW, a completely innocent game, is supposedly enough to give a person murderous thoughts, then owning a kitchen knife should make them go on a killing spree- >,<
Let's say that I kill someone. I have hair. That doesn't mean I murdered someone BECAUSE I have hair...

Oh fuck off, some of us know people who were on the island, and it's so unnecessary of you to state that you simply don't care. There is no need for you to say this, and even if you don't feel anything regarding this, then at least respect the ones of us who do.
