This happen with Columbine and Marilyn Manse I do believe (i.e. the murderers music tastes were seen as cause of their murderousness), hopefully the Media has grown up a bit since then but I doubt it.
Still shocked and still thinking about these poor people. fucksake...

It was just a matter of time until they brougt it up, though.. that being said, it was just ONE small segment in a 16 hour day of continious news broadcasts, so let's not get our panties in a bunch just yet... Also find it interesting that they keep harping on WoW and still refrain from mentioning CoDMW2...

Personally I feel nothing when I hear that people in a far off country died. Should I pretend to be upset? Should I express condolances I don't really feel? Why should I care about the death of these individuals, when I am apathetic to the 10,000 other people who died today? That's one view point. But some people genuinely feel sorrow or grief when people they don't know die. Some people cry when they see a puppy getting hurt. Personally I'm always more interested in these sorts of things from an analytical perspective than an emotional one. And let's not forget that TL is an international community and there are actual people from Norway that post here. To them, this incident isn't in some faraway distant land. If you aren't upset by this than that's fine. But you seem to be upset about something. Otherwise, why make this post? It brings nothing constructive to the discussion.

Man everyone who gets fascinated by this manifest should consider:
Even if hes clever and has proper arguments everything seems to fit in ... its just plain hate, hate on everyone, hate on humans it self... if u conclude his thinking u have to kill everyone in the end becouse most of it is just a perspective to live and just a attemp to figure it out. He has no love in his soul he has no mercy and so its all on non-human thinking a robot could do ....
WE ARE HUMANS WE SHOULD ACT LIKE HUMANS.
Stop try to use logic everywhere and on everything. Becouse youre logic is just as good as youre perspective... consider this and you will find a true way of living.

I just bought Modern Warfare 2, the game. It is probably the best military simulator out there and it’s one of the hottest games this year. I played MW1 as well but I didn’t really like it as I’m generally more the fantasy RPG kind of person – Dragon Age Origins etc .and not so much into first person shooters. I see MW2 more as a part of my training-simulation than anything else. I’ve still learned to love it though and especially the multiplayer part is amazing. You can more or less completely simulate actual operations.

He was actually associated with the EDL (read OP and my linked post in the OP, Killer section). The EDL basicly seems to be a right-wing organisation that's stating they're not part of any neo-nazi movement. So, yeah... read up on it if you need more infos.

The manifesto just reeks of obsessive psychotic writing. Many pages of text about even some smallest details. I can just imagine him writing this shit alone in a dark room night after night. Really gives me the shivers.

I'm pretty sure most people who are fascinated by his manifest are perfectly aware that it's more or less pure hate all the way through. It's perfectly possibly to find something your completely disagree with very fascinating, perhaps even easier because it gives insight into thought's that you could never even conceive of thinking.

So there is a manifesto now. Great. Even though he chose to kill as many as possible in a single attack he seems to have a lot in common with the stereotypical serial killer profile. A full blown psychopath, farily smart, who considers himself above everyone else. At first I thought the shootings might be driven by anger somehow, but it seems he's even a sicker fuck than that. It sounds like he was methodically walking around on the island, trying to spread as much fear as possible, and, I assume, enjoying the feeling of being in control.
Of course, he got to "control" the media exactly the way he wanted too, which didn't hesitate to use the two PR-photos he planted on the new facebook account in every news article following the reveal of his identity. And now we get the "manifesto", which will certainly get all the publicity he could have wished for.
I really hope the guy himself fades from everyone's memory as fast as possible.

http://www.youtube.com/user/BFMTV#p/u/18/KDqxYSpd5Lg (french) This guy reminds me of Battle Royal :/ Maybe watching japanese drama makes you also a serial killer, as well as playing rogue on WoW...
Its so crazy I can't understand how he could do this... I found no media explaining why... (true reason I mean, other than he loved Modern Warfare)

There are problems in Europe. However, they are nothing compared to the problems we see in other continents. Our problems have nothing to do with "multiculturalism" like this maniac claims. The same is true of the problems in other continents.
This event, if anything, shows what hate and division breeds. I have absolutely no respect for anyone who can agree with the ideas that led this man to his actions.
