You have to go for emergency friendship killer. Stop TALKING to her, do not contact her in anyway. She will come and ask what's up. And then you will tell her that you don't want to just be friends 1-0 gg no re oh fuck, you reallythink so? If I do that, I'm like, 85-90% sure she will just be like, "shrug, whatever". I mean, our experience wasn't exactly sensationally amazing. She might just shrug it off. I kind of disagree with "tell her you don't want to just be friends..."
Seriously, he's from Finland. He's snowed in 11 months of the year and running for his life from polar bears the other month, you can safely avoid his advice. I don't see the point in ignoring someone you're interested in. Just do something that's obviously a date. And make it obvious when you're there.

It makes them feel awkward if you straight up tell them you like them too early. It's not about saying it, it's about saying it at the right time. After you've gone on a couple of dates, things that are obvious dates, then tell her you like her, and you want to be more than just friends. Don't do it too soon, that's the thing.

Oh and also the easiest way you can make her hot and wet....
ask her to go jogging with you

You should jut try it too, it surprisingly efficient.. And it remove all stress and responsability from your side

Make sure you're always calm, or else the girl will probally end up thinking you're obsessed (which you do seem to be, a little) with her or something is wrong. It sounds like you did pretty well this time around, and as long as you keep being friendly while making sure the situation advances a little more in a romantic way each "date" you should be fine. Eventually.
For all those saying that friendship is a very bad thing for a relationship: Friendship can provide an excellent foundation for a relationship. I was best friends with my current girlfriend of seven years for four years beforehand. I don't know about other cases, but mine has turned out pretty well, and we've only had one argument the whole time we've been together. I think it's mainly because we knew each other so well before we even started dating. So, meh. My own opinion on it.

hey! enjoy this while you can b/c you won't have that nervous feeling forever.^^
also while it may seem like it now there are other women that you will fall hard for-- you have lots of shots in life at wonderful women ^^;; so even if you don't "get the girl," in the long run it will be a good memory for you, trust me (as long as you're not deceitful or cheesy).
but having said that, why not snag this one when you have the chance so no regrets?

nice job there =)
I think maybe you have to go for another walk with her like this first one you had, and then after returning back to school (or to your homes, whatever) tell her that you seem to have a great time being with her and maybe she would like to come on a "real" date with you for a drink or something the following night. Don't actually mention the word "date", you get the idea I suppose =)

I feel a lot more comfortable. How should I phrase it? And where should I go?

POST A DAY 2 TOMORROW!
edot: keep asking her to go here and there with you at lunch and spares so she gets the hint you want to spent time with her, don't go to like McD's or anything, go to a restraunt, but not one you have to wait 1 hour for the food, like a Swiss Chalet, if those are in the US

3rd date = kiss time! else, she might think ur gay

"This makes me kind of nervous to ask you, but wanna go have lunch tomorrow?"
Compare & contrast confidence with honesty/refreshingness. I figure you'd do better at the latter as you don't have a lot of practice at it yet.

Sorry, just spent last hour arguing with some guy over poker... Actually, insulting him into going on tilt until he threw his chips away. The quality of my insults were about as good as the above too. I'm already on fire!

this is a very viable solution. Could I add to this: Hi, do you have anything to do lunch tomorrow? (should i say this and wait for an answer? this might allow for early rejection, am i almost asking her to reject me?) Her answer: No I really had enjoyed yesterday with you. This makes me kind of nervous to ask you, but want to go have lunch tomorrow? Or I could say both things without stopping to let her answer.

Heh, yeah, out of curiosity, what caused the change in status? I'm sure its not one single thing, but I think alchohol might have been involved no? My ex and I were friends for 3 years, we had been drunk sooo many times together, so I can't say that alchohol caused it, but it was definitley involved.

Why would you want her to know you're nervous?
