I warned you in our last PM that you shouldn't take any excuse to chicken out, and you didn't! Way to go! War's not over, ohhh and yes you should ask her again, anytime you can. Gonna have to think over the books thing... don't think it is a great sign, but it could just be nervousness, I'll ask my female housemates (I live with two girls). Edit: Never mind about this, I reread your thing, and she did "enthusiastically" show you the books, sounds good to me, and my housemates give it the thumbs up. They say she might have just wanted something to talk about, that didn't require much thought (ie.. no akwardness). Female friends cock-block like a frieght train. Don't sweat it. Make your intentions (notice I didn't say get mushy with feelings and scare her) known as soon as you are remotely comfortable doing it. I would have made it clear when I asked her, but to each his own. GL! hopefully I'll be able to give you a HF soon! Edit: PS. Your gonna have to come up with a place to go, none of us know the area around your school. Can you break on to the roof of the building, cause that's always fun.
